the timing of the tempo-changed vocals doesn´t seem to fit always.
check the balances of your mix.
for my ears the bass is a bit too loud and the vocals are not loud enough.

drawing out the"turn on the light"-section as long as possible was part of my concept.
i didn´t look at it as a verse in a classical sense but tried to bulid up and up a growing tension that finally finds a "redemption" in these lines.
but you´re right, it is not what one expects as a usual song-structure.
