tethia Comments on Other's Remixes

Thank you very much!

This was for indaba Scratch my back remix contest

Already commented at indaba, great work anyway! :-)

Welcome back, Favard. Nice work!

Too short, unfortunately :-)

Playful? :-] I meant it had to sound very dramatic :-]

Fantastic version, Maxwell.

Thank you for uploading it HERE :-). This is a great way to help Real World Remixed to stayin' alive!!!

Nice

Around 4:30 it has a Madonna feel

Not bad :-]

Really fantastic!

In my favs (again) :-)

Beautiful! Nice feel :-)

In my favs

Nice work.

I give to you 5 stars for your modesty!

:-] :-] :-] :-] :-]

:-) :-]

Beautiful version! In my favs :-)

--------------------

Great remixes and heated arguments: aaahhhh, the good old times!

I still love this place :-] :-] :-]

At long last I've got another remix for my top five! :-]

Great work, original, intense, liked a lot the "crashed glass" sound. It makes me think to someone that used to smash TV for doing music. . .

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ON8lVgJxMQA

"Take the long way Hobo!"

Charlie Winston meets Supertramp!

I like very much the percussions, the final part and the general feel in your remix.

Fantastic work Pegasus. In my favs :-)

Liked it! :-)

At the start it seems a 007 soundtrack :-) , then lots of funny ideas.

Very nice!

Wonderful work!

Just came back from seeing PG in Paris; it was a sublime experience and I'm having difficulties in restart my normal everyday life!

Purtroppo non sono in grado di riconoscere tutte le citazioni, mi verrebbe da dire il piano di "Here comes the flood" all'inizio, e lungo tutto il brano qualcosa mi fa pensare ai Beatles. . . ma non so dire cosa esattamente!

Grazie per quest'opera d'arte! :-)

Grrrrrreat work! Liked it very much!

Paris c'à eté a reve!

Still dreaming. . . .

:-)

Thank you very much!

Great ambience, very nice!

Beautiful!

In my favs

Very pleasant to listen, liked the percussion and the ambience.

5 from me and in my favs!

:-)

L-D, bad boy, behave yourself!

:-]

I don't see anything bad with this remix, it's nice IMO.

Glad to see you back, Schräs. :-)

:-(

Never rated nor commented on it,

but I like it very much!!!

:-)

:-]

Thank you migzama, this wouldn't have been possible without collaborative support from RWR community.

Hi idefix,

I think there is a competition now, but goodness knows

how it works!

Only in Sima Edy competition they used charts to decide a site winner

http://www.realworldremixed.com/competition_4_dubc.php

Rules are always an unknown quantity here :-]

Beautiful, liked it a lot.

5 * and in my favs!

Liked it, it seems a Talking Heads song in tracts.

Thank you for commenting on mine!

Damned keyboard!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:O=

:-] :-] :-] :-] :-] :-] :-] :-] :-] :-] :-] :-] :-]

Très joli!!!

Très joli!!!

Always a pleasure to have you in this website :-)

In my favs

At last someone did something really creative with this sample pack! Your remix is absolutely fantastic and I like it a lot. I agree with all the previous comments, and especially with HaveMercy, Djansia, Synthetic and didierbardin.

In my Favs and Comp Chart!

:-)

Nice

Liked the bass :-)

Liked it

Nice

Liked it :-)

Veeery nice! Pity for the chorus, maybe you could spend some other time (hours? minutes? seconds? :-]) in improving it, it seems out of tempo in tracts.

4 from me :-)

Thank you :-)

Very beautiful!

This is great! what about a longer version?

Happy 2010 :-)

I don't want to rate this, I prefer to wait for a final version :-)

Happy Christmas and a Happy New Year, Susy!

:-)

Liked it :-)

Just joking___it's really nice!

5 *!!!

:-] :-] :-] :-] :-]

:O= :O= :O=

I give you 0

Liked it a lot.

It remembers to me some Franco Battiato songs.

Thank you! :-)

Ah! and have a look when you've got time

http://tethia.blogspot.com/

Fantastic!

A well deserved Top1, in a very RizkeyGish style!

In my favs :-)

Nice one :-)

Can't stop listening :-)

Fantastic!

Finally, something fresh in this dear old website.

In my favs :-)

Fantastic!

Thank you for sharing it :-)

Charming remix!

It's a Sledgehammer sample I heard in it?

I wish you good holidays!!!

:-x

I already commented about this remix, but I like to add some other word.

Nothing strange that one has thousand of friends voting for him.

But all those friends, they could at least try to listen to at least a fraction of the fantastic music one can hear here, at Real World Remixed!

All of your friends, they "have given an average vote of 5.0000 stars and has rated 1 remix": yours of course!

Now, that the competition ended, and you had your well deserved prize, dear Dimitris, please you could do this site a favour:

during your very popular show at BEST, maybe you could ask people to listen also to other remixes here, not only to yours! It would be a very kind action with respect to this site that was so kind to host you and your remix!

I'm sure you are not worried about comparisons :-)

Kind Regards :-)

Beautiful and original.

A well deserved prize!

I want to rate this, because it's a wonderful piece of music.

Words seem useless now, I only wish to say that by expressing your pain, you are more wise that keeping it hidden inside.

But you already know this.

Thank you for sharing.

Damned keyboard :-] :-] :-]

Je suis très honorée monsieur studioalpha!

:-]

Liked it

Is it too late to comment on this now?

It's absolutely touching, moving, in a word: beautiful!

Better late than never! :-)

Beautiful work :-)

Nice

It's fantastic THE HEAT I can hear here! :-]

A great work, OXXO. Thank you for sharing it!

And many congratulations for being so rich in musical inspiration! :-)

The ending is too abrupt for my taste, apart from this, liked it :-)

Fantastic remix! I'm very glad that a "not-occidental" version finally came! I agree that maybe this is not a final version, but it's absolutely new and original.

Thanks for sharing it.

Agree with Youyou, great energy in here___

It would have been great to have remixer notes written in English, but I'm resigned by now :-]

La cuisine française est toujours exquise :-)

Never rated or commented this yours,

but I remember I've been here before :-)

It would be great, if music could change the world

:-(

With respect to the previous version, it is enriched with many beautiful details :-)

It got better again (if possible) :-)

Liked pg's "they probably will" in the end :-), and all the new added vocals

:-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Liked it :-)

:-)

I would have liked to hear at least a little bit of PG's voice__ and also some reference to the original melody, it would be nice

But more I listen and more I like it: it's a great work for shure :-)

Beautiful, I like especially the intro, but all the ambience is fantastic

@Havemercy

What can I say? Thank you! :-x

@Susy

Thank you for your comment. I am very happy that you liked the parts I have added by myself, it was not easy to find the right sounds, I think they still don't fit 100%, but maybe Live doesn't contains all, or maybe I wasn't able to find all I needed.

About volume adjustments, L-D already pointed out the fact that they're not my cup of tea :-]

Track vocals not in sync? it seems to me they're OK, but maybe we can discuss it separately :-)

Thank you very much for your words, yes I'm here to learn, so I like a lot to go along this way!

Ssssssooooooo rrrrrelaxxxxxing :-)

Very personal, very RizkeyGish style!

"And if you know who you are, you are your own superstar!"

By the way, nice PG's voice cutting. Great idea, isn't it? :-] :-] :-]

Back on the block!

GRRRRRReat!

Finally I can add it on my favs :-]

You see Andreas, they said that maybe there will be a competition, and this simple idea was enough: three or four zeros in succession without a comment___

Oh well, maybe Doghouse would say that it would take lots of balls to comment after rating with zero! :-]

Not one of us!

Like that nice guy that gave to my remix lots of zeros without a comment, of course :-] :-]

Very very nice and original.

Hmmm__ I'd say PG voice in the background is from another song, maybe the family and the fishing net? But I'm not sure.

Anyway,this remix makes more easy to me to accept the idea of a rap version :-]

Ciao P :-)

Thank you OXXO for your kind words :-)

and thank you again for providing the most "clean" KB vocals never ever heard! :-]

Andreas, thank you very much for your words!

Even though the comparison with Bjork is absolutely, totally, completely undeserved, I have to say that I listened to some of her magic music while working on my remix, and I found it very inspiring. So at this point it's great that a little bit of that sensation has come out from here! :-)

@Doghouse

your words make me proud. Thank you, thank you very much.

I would pay ready money to listen to "your" version of this song! :-]

@youyou

yes, I sang with him, and the more incredible thing is that he never became aware of this!

Hopefully he agree about the voices :-] it seems to me you're right :-)

Beautiful :-)

L-D, RizkeyG, studioalpha, Pegasus: Thank you for your kind words!

@L-D

it's "frustration" not "frustation"!!! :-] :-] :-]

Anyway you're right, it's rather frustrating to have ideas without being able to fully realize them. But I'm happy for having at least tried!

I've forgotten to say in the notes, that the drumloop was a Live preset with little modifications.

Nobody complained about my pronunciation, so I think it was decent enough !

:-]

Classy.

And I think I know why that familiar sensation: there is something of Backstage Superstarz in it! :-]

Beautiful :-)

Liked it a lot! What a bassline :-)

In my favs :-)

Beautiful :-)

Nice one, Rizkey :-)

:-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Liked it

A "moral" winner, IMHO :-) :-]

Beautiful

I loved the bass a lot.

Fantastic!

Very nice and original!

:-)

:-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

and surprising as usual

:-)

Very funny, and liked also the "Ciuri ciuri" final.

Nothing can escape a sicilian remixer ears!!! :-]

I imagined something similar to this, but I'm not able to do it!

Happy Christmas! :-)

Nice and eccentric, very Youyouish! :-]

Merry Christmas :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

A fascinating "explosion of charm"! :-)

I echo Youyou's comment, great drums, and thank you for your nice words and for contributing in keeping the site alive with your music.

I also agree that Sevara's voice is wonderful and Kunlarim Sensiz is a fantastic song, how witnessed by the great number of remixes of it here.

I wish you fantastic Holidays!

:-x

Great! :-)

Thank you Flow Theory! I listened with interest to some of your works here in RWR, and I found them absolutely original and very heartfelt :-)

Also to me this is very nice :-)

Nice one Susy,

and I appreciated very much the technical notes. The last component that you mentioned is always essential!!!

:-) :-]

Joy and energy! This is an invitation to enjoy life in all its complexity. Great!

If only I was able to understand a tenth of what you are saying in your technical notes_______:-] :-] :-]

Oh well, I don't understand but I like it. If one can understand all, the enchantment of Music would disappear quickly_______

Thank you for sharing this!

:-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

@Pegasus

Yes, sometimes one needs to be focused on essential things. Thanks a lot for your comment, and I hope I can listen soon to your new music!

@wildnoise

what can I say? We all need space, and it's fantastic how many and diverse landscapes Music can open to our mind and to our heart. Thank you very much, my friend! And I'm looking forward to listening to yours :-)

@yard

I agree, to deal with oneself can be rather complicated sometimes! Thank you :-)

I like it! :-)

@L-D

Thank you so much, I laughed a lot, thank you very much really

Oh, as for the cymbals, I had already turned down them! :-] :-] :-]

@Susy

Your words are always so encouraging, thank you. I am looking forward to listen some of your fantastic creations. I think I'm not the only one in this, the site miss a new Susy1214 remix!

@colab

thank you very much for your nice words. I feel honoured and also it seems to me that a colab version of Sima Edy could contribute to stem the dance drift! :-)

Crazy youyou!

Vary very very nice :-)

Absolutely moving!

On my favs :-)

Very enjoyable! A great return home :-)

Nice Afro-Celt remix :-)

Nice version. Very original!

Very nice! :-)

:-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

L-D expressed curiosity about that bassline.

Here's its little story. So much time I was looking someone to talk about it.

I was at work. My hands were busy with my habitual occupations, and I was listening to music, but only in my mind, as it often happens to me. In that period, during the night I worked at my Sevara and Imagined Village remixes.

So, I was at work, and "that" bassline came to my mind. Panic! It was morning, and before night I'll have forgotten that for sure. I'm not able to write music, so I did some dot in a sort of stave better that I can and put that piece of paper in my bag.

That approximative writing was sufficient to make me remember the music. To add this to my remix, I tried several kind of basses in Live and at the end I used the one called "Boombastic bass", doing some adjustment in the presets.

When heard it for the first time in my mind, I though I had a great idea. Afterwards, listening to other Sevara remixes, I realized that it was in some way similar to the original bassline in the original song. But I was very happy with the final result. It's one of the sweetest memories I have here, on this stupid website.

Welcome back! :-)

This is absolutely great!!!

:-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

:-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

:-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

:-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Fantastic remix!

It reminds to me EVE atmosphere

:-)

Very original and creative. It was difficult to imagine a so meditative piece starting from the original one!

Agree with Susy about the Hot Pick :-)

Is it Raf in backing vocals? :-)

Nice one LS

I know I am a little bit late, but I want to say: fantastic remix Maxwell!

Also the title is very well chosen :-]

Beautiful :-)

Nice :-)

Happy New Year everybody and thanks again for your kind comments! :-)

@audiotechnica, thanks, it's very appreciated, and you're right, it's me crying! :-]

And about chocolate, I think this place is great for dreaming, so everyone is free to choice his/her favourite images in this sense! :-]

I like it!

The only thing I don't like so much it's the ending,(too sudden in my opinion), but I much liked the harmonica and the general mood. Thanks for your comment on my remix. :-)

I don't know why I never commented here, but even if I am a little bit late, I have to say: this is just great!

Thanks for your comment on mine, and Happy New Year to you!

:-)

HaveMercy,

it's rather difficult to me to answer to your question. All I can say is that remixing is a very demanding job, especially for women.

As discussed in "Where are the women?" thread, before starting a remixing session we use to practise several kind of warming-up techniques.

I mean to propose to Real World that they hold a specialized course about these different methods, opened to both men and women remixers. At the end of the course, maybe they could organize a mega remixing session in the Big Room, where all together we could carry out a practical demonstration. Only to didactic aim of course!

:-] :-] :-]

@OXXO

I'm glad you enjoied the trip :-], thank you for your words :-)

@Susy

I like very much that bass. And I like very much sea and its strange creatures. :-) In my "previous life" I was a marine biologist and a scuba diver. :-)

Your comment is very appreciated, thanks!

@Maxwell

impressionists are my favourite painters! :-)

Thanks for your kind words :-)

In last days I listened many times to your wonderful "The monkey's year" remix

Buon Natale a te! :-)

Thanks everybody for your kind words! My heart is full of joy!

@Pegasus

"harnessing the music", I never imagined that a day I could be able in doing this. Some of your wonderful remixes kept me company during my journey. Especially "Gone with the rain" that I often listened to at the end of every remixing session! :-)

@Wildnoise

"You have a musical mind" after this compliment I feel so rewarded that I can definitely retire from remixing :-]

But Iâ??d like very much to start a collaboration with you before :-]:-]:-]

@Essesq

donâ??t talk to me about that chocolate sauce! my lingerie is still all stained! And my studyâ??s floor is still full of feathers!!! :-]

What a pleasure to see you around again! I was worried that you all were run away____

Yes it was hard work to learn the software. But the more difficult thing was to protect the controller from killer hands of my children! I know you can understand me :-) :-) :-)

@Youyou

you scattered all over this website the lovely crazyness of all your remixes! Thank you very much!

:-)

Congratulations for #1 in the Top20!

:-)

A soundtrack for "open eyes dreaming".

Very very beautiful :-)

Hey PSO,

you once left an encouraging comment on my first remix and I'm still grateful to you for this!

You know for sure that music is a great therapy for many kinds of pain____

You again did a great remix! Congratulations also for n.1 in top20!

:-)

Great collaboration!!!

Congratulations to all involved!

:-)

Hi Coca,

Iâ??m deeply moved with your words. I feel greatly honoured that you liked my remix. Moreover I would like to add that your feedback is important for remixers, sometimes we feel a little bit neglected here, and in lack of clear rules. People like you, that spend your time in listening and commenting, give an important contribution to keep the site alive!

As for my work, it would have not been possible without precious technical help, and above all support and friendship from all wonderful people met here. As an example, Wildnoise provided lyrics translation.

In my opinion, these vocals from your song and this music from DJRkod, they are made for each other, so I feel really happy for having let they meet!

Thank you very much for your words and for sharing your music with us!

:-)

Nice :-)

I like it!

:-)

Beautiful!:-)

Can't stop listening to this.

And since last 24 hrs I've got an idiot smile on my face.

Can someone help me please? :-] :-] :-] :-] :-]

Doghouse, you are a genius! :-]

I'm sure old Pete gave a lot of sighs remembering his youth's summers spent near that jukebox____ Watching that gal that he liked a lot____ and that didn't love him, but his best friend, of course!!!

@RizkeyG

the only one here that writes worse than you is Doghouse :-] :-] :-]

Thanks for your words (whatever they mean) and a virtual hug for you!!!

@Essesq

Thanks for your words, anyway someone else expressed my thoughts before and better than me:

"From the pain come the dream

From the dream come the vision

From the vision come the people

From the people come the power

From this power come the change"

Also I would like to add:

What about a "Remixers Mummies Club"? :-]

@spinmeister

About the reverb, yes you're right, I tried with this to transmit the sense of solitude and deserting of a lonely woman trapped in a hostile and violent environment.

Thanks for your nice word and for your advice.

:-)

@youyou

my daughter don't like it so much!:-]

@Loveshadow and sammlung santosi

Your words give to me a sense of gratification, thank you very much!

:-)

Thanks a lot, OXXO and RizkeyG!

:-)

I like it!

Happy to be the first to give 5 stars

:-)

The beginning reminds to me a little bit of Blade Runner. I like how it changes toward the ends, but it lasts too long, perhaps. Remember that we're not doing jogging at this moment!

Anyway, nice one from you, Susy

:-) :-) :-) :-)

Many, many thanks to everybody!

I wouldn't be here without the support of this wonderful community!

I would like to underline that original music is by DJRkod, so please would you pass on to him your compliments for the music! :-] :-] :-]

Anyway, it seemed to me that this music goes very well with this vocals.

Thanks again to all of you!

:-)

Congratulations Spinmeister! :-)

Congratulations Schras! :-)

Congratulations LS! :-)

It remembers to me of the market place of my hometown!

Nice

:-) :-) :-) :-)

P.S. http://www.artinvest2000.com/guttuso-vucciria.jpg

I just needed some dance in these boring days_____

:-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

What a party! I would have liked a lot to be with you all!!!

:-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

I think this site is great,

I met wonderful people here.

I wouldn't no one of you leave,

I would be happy if those who left can return.

Thanks Hernine for your nice words and for your music so full of happiness.

Come back soon!

:-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

What about a Francesco De Gregori/ Carmen Consoli duet?!?

Obviously I'm just joking, beautiful remix_____

:-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

oops! I had missed this one!!!

:-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Nice and peaceful.

:-) :-) :-) :-)

Maybe vocals are not "perfect", anyway it has a very african feel. I think that sharing is a way to grow it up, so you'll be happy, at the end.

:-) :-) :-) :-)

In which way I could be of inspiration to you, is for me a mystery, so I opt for support and friendship. But the real mystery, in my opinion, is how a bunch of cells working not quite synchronously can produce such wonderful sounds. Really a miracle! :-]

Nature keep on surprising me, every day, in all Her manifestations___ But maybe scientific explanations sound too cold, youâ??re right, so Art comes to our aid, by offering to us a different level of comprehension of our world___

Iâ??m not an artist, but, unlike Science, Art is universal, it can involve every kind of people, from learned man to the stupid or ignorant one. So I feel right to say some word here.

Distorted sounds in the start remind me to old Genesis songs atmosphere. It seems to me to hear Genesisâ?? influence in several points, but Iâ??m not sure of this, loving a lot their music maybe I started suffering from acoustic hallucinations. I loved very much the stretching of the Salala chorus.

After all, a wonderful tale, and a really touching version.

:-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

really too arrogant for my taste!

:-) :-) :-) :-)

Funny and pleasant to listen!

:-) :-) :-) :-)

Very pleasant to listen, very beautiful voice!

:-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Really beautiful and original, as people already said.

I like mostly the final part.

:-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

I agree with Doghouse, this mix is like a pistacchio ice-cream!

Totally relaxing, it's what I needed!

:-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

I always though that Joi's song was more beautiful by slowering it___ This version is really beautiful!

:-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Great collaboration!

But more than tide, listening to this I imagine a sandy fondal with its ripple marks

Excuse me, the marine biologist that I was sometimes gets the upper hand of me!

:-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Yes, a soundtrack. In my mind an image comes, not of a volcano, but rather that majestic waterfall of "Mission" film (Robert De Niro and Jeremy Irons, do you remember?)

The end leaves me in expectation of something having to succeed, maybe the story continues?

:-) :-) :-) :-)

I am wondering if Frankmixtein experience in some way transmitted to you the importance of stressing changes___

Very pleasant to listen, and I liked your notes too

:-) :-) :-) :-)

Other people already said all!

:-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Really beautiful, it reminds me of Johnny Clegg & Savuka!

Maybe more for the children that for the parents___

:-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Errata

transform (obviously!)

Rustyjam, you did a wonderful remix! Really a sort of kaleidoscope, you enriched the original song with YOUR ideas, don't need to apologise with me or other people that used the same sound before! One thing I like more here is that everyone starts from the same "material" and create really different things. In my opinion, the most important thing is not the material, but how you use it to transorm it in something that you like!

:-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

I think ol Pete will return a child listening to this___

Thanks Doghouse!

I am very impressed___

:-x :-x :-x :-x :-x

I am looking forward to hear what old Pete did at the party____:-]

In the meantime, I thank you for all fun and smiles you give to us,

I can only give 5 stars to you!

:-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Thanks to everybody,

you're wonderful!

:-)

Who is really perfect?

This seems to me a very HUMAN remix, all in all its "imperfections" make it really lovable!

:-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Very relaxing.

Suitable for emptying my mind after a tiring day like this!

:-) :-) :-) :-)

"The dark side of Salala"____

I'm rather surprised by the feel of this remix, I haven't expected anything similar.

Anyway, I cannot stop moving my feet!

:-) :-) :-) :-)

Not exactly my taste, but

very danceable (obviously!)

:-] :-] :-] :-]

Too much Nirvana for my taste, but however nice

:-) :-) :-) :-)

I consider this as an allowance to keep on remixing!!! :-] :-x :-]

Just listening to yours when you commented mine.

Do dogs believe in telepathy?

Wonderful, I liked very much that change of feel/style.

Congratulations also for the great number of comments! :-] :-] :-] :-] :-]

@Havemercy

thanks a lot, I am happy you haven't really missed it!

@Doghouse Riley

as usual, I understand only a small percentage of what you're saying___:-) I would like very much a translation for "two footed" beings :-] ___ But I feel honoured for receiving a comment from you! I am happy for this, even if what you mean was: "Please stop doing remixes!!!" :-] :-] :-]

This is great!

I love most added vocals and percussions.

:-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

The start is what I like much. Anyway a touching version!

:-) :-) :-) :-)

It is like running on a train full of energy!

I like it very much, really beautiful!

:-) :-) :-) :-) :-) and on my favs!

Strange, but funny

:-) :-) :-) :-)

A little bit of sweetness is necessary sometimes_____

:-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Thanks rustyjam for your words.

And thanks Thukol for listening again!

:-)

@Pegasus

"Experimental", said by you itâ??s a great compliment!

:-)

@Wildnoise

I am absolutely grateful to you for giving to me precious technical advice. I had the luck to collaborate with you in Frankmixtein experiment and I had to say that this experience gave to me a much greater confidence. In my opinion, your contribute to this community is really great!

@Loveshadow

Many thanks for your words, particularly beautiful if I remember all wonderful remixes you put on this site. Excuse me from my ignorance, but I really donâ??t know what dry treatment is! (And I'd like to know it, of course)

@radiotimes

Thanks a lot, it seems to me that turning ideas in music is a really exciting job!

@audiotechnica, youyou, BS

Thanks! Thanks! Thanks!

@Thukol

Your words warm my heart! I am grateful to you too, not only for your words, but because listening of your "Suicide monkey" remix in some way inspired mine. They are really different one from another but hypnothic feel is rather similar, in my opinion.

Africa, I love it without knowing it really (I was only been for few days in Tunisia). Itâ??s funny, you heard a grasshopper, I heard a rattle, and now Iâ??m discovering that it isnâ??t no one of them__ But it seems it works well in drying mouth!

@spinmeister, The_Joe

Many many thanks!

:-x :-x :-x

Hi everybody,

I am authentically moved from your positive comments.

I would like to reply to everyone of you, but I cannot at the moment.

This is only to say "thank you!", this remix would have not been here without your support and advice!

I will add some other word later

:-x

Wonderful!

:-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Congratulations for the top10 place!

:-x

A very pleasant listening!

:-) :-) :-) :-)

:-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

After all tension of your previous works, I imagine this is in some way liberating___ :-)

It shows your growing technical skill.

Funny!

:-) :-) :-) :-)

It really was a great experience!!!

:-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

:-) :-) :-) :-)

:-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

:-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

:-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Beautiful!

:-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Really pleasant listening

:-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Very interesting remix!

:-) :-) :-) :-)

Yes, Essesq,

it's a kind of magic! Welcome back!

:-)

You created a really nice atmosphere. It could be a travel on another planet, or maybe a more introspective trip, across the more intimate part of our mind.

Persistence was rewarded, finally! Years don't matter, only the result is important.

And the way too. I don't know if your brain is really fried now, but I'm sure that this experience changed it, and you're becomed a more complete person!

:-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Great!

:-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Beautiful!

:-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

The last minute is magic!

Many compliments to both!!!

:-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

:-) :-) :-) :-)

Many compliments for the top 10 placing. It's a really difficult thing in these days!!!:-)

Very sweet and full of melancholy____

*****

Well done, Thukol!

It ideally reminds me images and sensations that we all felt in a remote past, but that in our adult life we don't remember anymore.

Outstanding from every point of view. In my opinion an hotpick!

:-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

I'm without words!

:-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Nice, but what are sponges dealing with this? :-]

:-) :-) :-) :-)

Beautiful!

:-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

:-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

I have the temptation to give a high rating for the quickest remix_________:-]

Like others, I don't hear anything!:-(

:-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

You're great!!!

:-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Wonderful!

:-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Too short! Could you "stretch" it?

:-] :-] :-] :-] :-]

PS I replied to your nice post on my remix page!!!

Very exotic and dreaming atmosphere!

Nice

:-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

This is a REAL DANCE version!

:-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

:-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Many many thanks and a big embrace to you all! I wouldn't be here without your encouragement and support!

@Susy

thanks for your advice. I am happy for having bring you on the beach! :-)

@radiotimes and youyou

thanks for listening and for your nice words! :-)

@TheJoe

I'm very happy for this result! This is totally because of you and other people that liked my remix and gave a good rating to it! thanks a lot! :-)

@Backstage Superstarz

I wish to say a lot of things to you, but I'm not sure to be able in doing this with my knowing of english. I'll try. I followed what you and other people said in forums. I though that you were a very young boy, or maybe a dreamer!:-) I think this place is in some way similar to REAL WORLD, so don't worry if someone are behaving in a way that is not right in your mind. Only continue to be correct as you ever did! You made a lot of fine remix here, and the more important thing IMHO it's what you learnt, and how what you did here changed your REAL life and enriched your personality.

I'm really happy to be in the top ten. But what warmt my heart more is all the support I received here, and all positive comments received from people like you!:-)

Don't give up, keep on remixing here!!! :-)

Compliments to your girlfriend!

:-) :-) :-) :-) (and to you of course)

Nice! :-) :-) :-) :-)

:-) :-) :-) :-)

Amazing! :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Many thanks, Maxwell. I liked a lot your monkey's remix. I hope you will remix Joi too!:-)

@hernine

Thanks a lot for your comment! I agree with all the things you are saying. I think that music is born together with human life on earth, well before that soundcards were invented! :-] So I am not worrying for not having expensive sofware or other toys. I also appreciated very much your work here. Nice to meet you!:-)

Many thanks, Paul!:-)

I'll go to have a look!:-)

"The rhythm has my soul"!

:-) :-) :-) :-)

Many many thanks to you all!

@Schras

I am really grateful to you for your advice. I hope I can follow your suggestion in the next future.

@Pegasus

thanks for you nice words, I read also these in the other remix :-)

@hernine

I know that problem___

I appreciated very much your "shock of the five worlds" remix, even If I never left a comment!:-)

@The_Joe

Many thanks, you're right, ideas are the most important thing! I hope nevertheless that practical application has its importance too__ So I hope to improve this aspect in the future!:-)

It trasmits a great melancholy, but at the same time a sense of___ something that I don't know how to explain___ a sort of fighting pride! Very beautiful.

:-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

@Schras

that is the main point! I think this is a effectively a problem. Not having a great experience on this, I uploaded the remix and be waiting some suggestion___:-) I'll try yours!:-)

@Thukol

Many many thanks to you.:-) I am really happy that you enjoied it! Sometimes I also would be in a place like that___ Fortunately music permits to us to travel everywhere!:-]

It trasmits to me a sense of peace and serenity. I would like to be on that cliff now!!! :-)

:-) :-) :-) :-) :-) !

Wow! a lot of positive comments in few hours! I feel sincerely excited and moved at the same time! I thank you all :-x :-x :-x :-x :-x :-x !

@Vox

does something more beautiful than the sea exist? :-)

@essesq

many thanks, I am really happy you liked my "painting"! :-)

@Loveshadow

funny what you said, I'm very glad that you appeciated this quick trip to Hawaii!:-)

@RizkeyG

Did I give an idea to you? THIS is a compliment!!!:-]

@spinmeister

I am happy you noticed that monkey. It's a really young monkey, very little, but so important in my life___:-)

@wildnoise

your kind words are giving to me a great happiness! I thank you again for all the encouragement you gave to me and for suggesting a very useful software! see you later at Jimmy's bar:-] :-] :-] !

Everytime I listen to this I feel in peace with all the world______:-)

Please put a copy of it in every iPod of all that "brainwashed soldiers"!!!! I'm sure they will stop fighting_____ :-x

Very touching version! and a well deserved hotpick!

:-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Beautiful! :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) from Italy!

:-) :-) :-) :-)

Please could you translate "Mr. Needlebalm"?!?

Hi Vox,

many many thanks for your nice words!:-)

I feel really honoured by what you said to me. At the moment I have begun to work on Joi's sample pack, but I am only at the starting point_________:-)

I hope to produce something good :-] !

I listened to this after having listened the update, maybe I like the older version more, because of its dramatical feel.

Good work and :-) :-) :-) :-)!

I like it! :-)

Nice! :-) :-) :-) :-)

What a wonderful tale! And the soundtrack is marvellous! :-x :-x :-x :-x :-x

@ Vox and Spinmeister (AKA â??a minor theory â?? :-) !)

Your kind words moved me! Because usually I feel like an illiterate from the musical point of view, and remixing gave to me the possibility of starting to speak a sort of musical language______

The sound that you (Vox) liked was the Whistle_2 file from AfroCelt sample pack: maybe through this you felt such a bliss :-]! I changed its tempo and pitch, and I used that natural reverb effect (http://www.tank-fx.de/) that Wildnoise mentioned in technical forums. Iâ??m not sure of the result, but I decided to leave it in this way.

I feel that Iâ??m not alone in going through this way, that seems to me a little bit difficult, but that I like very much! I am grateful to you for have spent time in listening, for your technical advice, and___ I hope to offer soon to you another piece of cake!!!

:-]

NICE!:-]

Well done!

:-) :-) :-) :-)

:-) :-) :-) :-) :-) from Italy!

"Mr Needlebalms fanclub address is,"

Where?!?

:-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Nice!

:-) :-) :-) :-)

Even better than the previous!!!

:-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

nice but too similar to "Talk to me"

:-) :-) :-)

:-) :-) :-) :-)

Many thanks Rizkey,

sorry but I understood little of your Prince's song!

Too much slang for me!:-)

I wouldn't be "lost in translation" again,

so please next song has to be in a "perfect" english!!! :-] :-] :-]

Many thanks youyou, unluckily I don't know that movie___ :-)

Nice!

:-) :-) :-) :-)

I like it!

:-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Really nice, as usual!

:-) :-) :-) :-)

Really really beautiful! And thanks for singing in italian:-]

:-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

@Scarborough

many many thanks for your comment, and for what you have done for me. This remix is here mainly because you helped me so much!

@Thukol

this time your (high) rating is welcome.

Unluckily a smiley with wet eyes isn't avalaible___

:-x

Hi Essesq,

I knew already this, even if I never left a comment.

Listening to it after all this time, and having read your comment on mine, now it seems to me that there are chindren crying here too (as someone writed to me)! :-] Maybe I am starting suffering from acoustic hallucinations?!?

Hold on! We can manage it!!!:-)

Beautiful!:-) :-) :-) :-)

Really pleasant! **** from Italy!:-)

Very nice!:-) :-) :-) :-)

@Thukol,

please accept my apologies. I didn't mean to hurt you. I'm happy that you're around again.:-)

@Wildnoise

Many thanks for your nice words!:-)

@Thukol

yes, you're right, there's some problem yet with the drum loop, but I'm not able to solve it, so I uploaded this version as it is.

For what concerning the chaos, there is a proverb that states: "Beauty is in the looking's eye", so maybe I could say: "Pleasure it's in the listening's ears" or maybe "in the listening's mind".:-)

Again, I'm sorry if you don't like this remix but everyone had his taste, as yourself said.

Only a favour to me: please don't give anymore high ratings to what you don't like. If you think it's a 2 stars remix, please give 2 stars. I don't need extra stars based on other facts than the remix quality/pleasure to listen to it. This is a very irritant thing to me. X-{

Even a beginner has his dignity!!!!!! :-)

Hi Thukol,

thanks for your comment, even if it is a little bit late: because you are saying nothing new to me, with these tecnical defects that others noticed before, and I've yet uploaded a version with several corrections.

I'm sorry that you can't find harmony on my remix, manifestly we are not on the same wavelenght at this moment!

:-(

Another thing: I'm not trying to give messages to other people with this remix: I'm not a preacher that does sermons :-], I haven't the pretence to change the world with my remixes! I only had a lot of fun in doing these, and I'm very satisfied to be learning something new.:-)

I love it!:-) :-) :-) :-)

Many thanks to everybody for your nice comments!

@fatfriend

yes, I like too this "bitonality" that you mention.I don't know if sometimes it is used by musicians, maybe from non-western cultures.?

Now I uploaded a new version of this remix, maybe more listenable, surely less strange!

:-)

Audacity is a Multitrack Audio Editor for Mac, Windows & Linux, as found in the help section of this website!:-)

A message from deep space. An organ playing. Tibetan monks praying. Another message, listened by other monks. A fishmonger shouting: you damned ozone hole X-{ !!!

And all together dancing into the sun!

:-] :-] :-] :-] :-]

A nice soundtrack for a travel towards the sea!

:-) :-) :-) :-)

Really really nice!

:-) :-) :-) :-)

Monkey is smiling at last!

Who said that PG never wrote a happy song?!:-]

Thanks for giving us hope!!! :-]

:-) :-) :-) :-)

:-) :-) :-) :-)

Really nice!!!

:-) :-) :-) :-)

In effect the other remix of yours already was between my favs. Sorry, it is monday morning.!:-]

Hi Wildnoise,

I have known you through your posts, or comments in various remixes (also to mine: many many thanks, I am very glad of this!), but it is inexplicable that I never listened to your remixes! This is really wonderful!!!

:-) :-) :-) :-) :-) and one of my favs

@audiotechnica

Many many many thanks :-), for listening and for posting. I appreciated very much your words!

My son (4 years) and my daughter (17 months) also like very much to dance!:-] It's one of most beautiful things that we can do together!!!

Hi Essesq,

thanks for your nice words. Yes we are like babies (and we see everyday what it means to be a baby!). I feel a little bit tired for this effort, but not exactly frustrated. I am proud of expressing myself with these remixes, even if they're not so good from technical point of view. Every little step in this direction is a big conquest, so don't give up! Never!!!:-)

Nice!:-) :-) :-) :-)

Beautiful!

Great! :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

@RizkeyG

yes, you're right,we all live at our own pace, and it's beautiful to find our dimension, even after have looking for it for a long time.but someone else said this before and in a better way.:-)

'Don't give up

cause I believe there's a place

There's a place where we belong'

Thanks for your nice words (I read that on the other remix too!)

:-x

@spinmeister

I was thinking before of trying to remix Afrocelt sound pack, but it seemed very difficult to me, maybe I got scared by all those audio tracks. :-)

But maybe this is a more reachable goal for me!:-)

Thank you for your comment:-)

@KroD

your words "shocked" me. I'm almost an illiterate from the musical point of view, but I'm glad that you talk to me about things I don't really know, but that intrigue me very very much. Music is an universal language, I think, that is specialized in transmit emotions. I'd love very much to learn this language, and to this purpose in the future I'll try to follow your advice. For that specifically concerning my remix, I think the 'out of key' problem, that obviously was not wanted, slightly reflect aspects of my personal life and so I believe it's quite honest and explanatory!:-)

@Susy

Yes I have to work hard!:-) But I like very much this kind of job:-) :-) :-) !

Many thanks to both

@RizkeyG

thanks for your comment, it's a funny explanation of what I've done, and by reading your words, it seemed to me that you were somewhat crazy :-] :-] :-] ! But a little bit of madness some times it's useful, we always would have to take it with us, in our pockets.:-)

I'm not sure I've understand all things you said, but sure I think you're right, I have "researched my environment and applied a relationship to it with my mix"!!!

:-) :-) :-)

Even I agree with the last part of your comment, yes things are falling into place: I hope my second remix will spring in the next few days! :-) :-) :-)

Beautiful!:-)

Nice!:-)

Very very pleasant:-) !

Very strange, but nice!:-)

The drop?

5 stars and all my sympathy.

Thanks for this remix! And the way by which it is born is fascinating! :-) :-) :-)

It's not so bad, but sometime vocals seem out of time.

Nice, it reminds me a Police's song.:-)

Very nice! :-)

I love it!:-)

Nice:-) !

very nice!:-) :-) :-)

@Scarborough

Many thanks for your comment, and for listening! I'm aware that quality of my remix is low, from a technical point of view, and I was waiting for the moment when it will gone out from this top 20 into which it entered in such an astounding way!:-)

Every comment is welcome, one of the things that I like on this site is the possibility to receive very different kinds of "input".

I'll try to apply your advice in my next remix. yes I hope there will be another:-] !!!

Original

very nice!:-)

@ Thukol

"There's a fat old lady outside the saloon

Laying out the credit cards she plays fortune"!

Right:-]?

Majestic!:-)

Your voice? I though it was Sting singing! and Carlos Santana playing guitar at the start.:-)

Très beau

Very loud!!!:-)

@youyou

Merci beaucoup!:-)

:-) :-) :-) :-) :-) !

Very very very nice:-)

The '80 are back!:-)

I like this very much. It trasmits to me a sort of melancholy.

I love when a remix transform the original version to a completely new song by enriching it of a new meaning. You gave to us a lot of emotions, more and more in every new mix than in the previous (that also were very good!!!)!

:-x Brava!

:-) :-) :-)

P.S. I've recognized here a "99 Posse" sample! Isn't it?

Very fascinating and moving! :-x

Listening to your marvellous dance remix I'm asking to myself if my dreadful "Pearls" could have given a little contribute to develop it.isn't it? I have a lot of technical things to learn, but I tried to put the accent on a part of the original song that was overlooked since now.

:-)

Thukol!

A presto!

Ciao Thukhol,

A presto

Paola

Scusa, ho detto una cavolata, non è "no self control", è il video di "I don't remember!"

Carino, non so perchè ma ascoltandolo mi torna in mente il video di "no self control".

I'm not a technician, but from a listener's point of view it's too similar to Careless whispers.:-(

I like it very much!:-)

Thanks to you, Patrick and livida. Maybe my next remix will be better!:-)
