Not a remixer, not into music, just the RWR-'Headphone-soldier' on duty for some years now. Perhaps you can guess why someone had the idea to call me like that when you look at the number of votings I gave to remixers here. If you ever read this: Every remix I have ever done is up here. For me that was an experience I do not want to miss. Perhaps you can hear how things developed if you have a quick listen beginning at my 2006 "Monkey" ending at the "Bliss". A few seconds each will do. Thank you Mr. Gabriel and RWR-team for giving us the opportunity to do these things. And thank YOU remixers out there for all this wonderful music of yours.

AndreasF Comments on Other's Remixes
Very good idea and production. Wonderful version of yours! Feel yourself hotpicked!
Read about the smile in the comments before listening and was curious of the things to follow. And: Yes, smiling here, too! Great version of yours, great ideas, well executed. Welcome to my favs.
Running up that hill!
Great mix!
Hi Maria, me back again, how are things going?
I still love this song of yours!
Perhaps you can give me a hint how you succeeded in finishing with that RWR-thing.
Many greetings
Andreas
Oh. There has been a mixer named 'Maxwell' here some time ago, nice to see that someone has chosen his name to remind us of him.
Max, very nice to see YOU here! Please don't let it last years to the next one!
To your music:
Beautiful melody, wonderful arrangement - as always! Glad to see that the Hotpick-crew do think the same about it. Italy rules (not talking about soccer here)
"I've always known."
Beautiful melody you created here. I'm not sure about the connection of your music and Little Axe. I had a strange feeling on this one: I waited for the part "Iâ??ve always known" from Charlie Winston's "Hobo" to begin, although I knew this is a version of Little Axe. For my ears that one would fit even better to your music. But that's only me and my old ears.
If ever a surgeon examines my brain he will find your 'Strangers tear' burnt deep into it, it's running all day long on my stereo and Ipod. It's the complete package, beginning with your remixers notes, ending with a beautiful song full of deep emotion. This time it's not your guitar, it's the piano that kills, especially on the last chorus. It all sounds so easy, as if it had to be this way. For me this one of yours carries the message better than the original. I would love to hear and see this version on a big stage, must be magic.
Sigh, those signs again.

Today is a good day, too!
Yesterday was a good day!
The final "Final mix"?
Oh yes, this is a great mix - of Games without frontiers.
Why can I add this one to my Top-5 of 'Not one of us'?
Strange realworld!
Again: Great mix of yours!
Today is a good day!
Wow!
I just noticed that you reached No. 1 five times in a row (with different tracks, but sometimes you were at No. 2 and 3, too!!!) Congratulations! I'm not sure if anybody else at RWR ever has been so successful in the charts. And there have been some really BIG ones here.
Well deserved, Andrea. Your music here ist SO beautiful and is highest level. You don't go for the "sweet" and easy ones, your songs are creative to the bones and very 'Scratch-my-back'.
Peter will enjoy, I'm sure.
Regards
A (with the F)
Again: Wow!!!
And now please go on to the next song, it would be nice to hear your interpretation of every offered song here.
Good connection of the different parts, Carlos fits well!! From time to time a bit out of synch, at least to my ears, there is some work to do.
It's not on me to tell you how this remixing-thingi works, but:
There is hardly any connection between the voice of Peter and the instrumentation you choose. There is a lot of work to do for you. Chop up the voices and add it to the places they belong. Perhaps you try to rebuild the song first to understand how it works.
Walk on!
I did not expect that anybody would be able to bring some life to this song, but: you did! Very good! I begin to like that song, but only in your version.
Great mix, I like the bassline. Well done!
Wow!!
One of the most interesting "Off-the-Box" mixes of Little Axe.
Very nice!
I like the story behind this one of yours and am impressed by the way you put the story to music.Interesting combination of old and new instrumentation. Very well done!
Wow, just wow!
This one is wonderful, very interesting intro, and the orchester-instruments you played are so beautiful. You don't like the word 'genius'? You will have to arrange with this word if you upload stuff like this.
I think I need some hints on the musical quotes you mentioned. My ears found these: Pink Floyd (the radio section in the beginning), some Alan Parsons stuff (the Music-box sequence) and perhaps some Barclay James Harvest (There is a similar steps-sequence on the Album Octoberon at the end of the track 'Suicide') - But I fear all these things are from the eighties.
Very well done, "ottimamente"!!
AndreasF
PS1: Didn't find the file you mentioned above.
PS2: There are some german words in your internetsite. Do you have any relationship to this language?
Ja, so hätte man das auch auf die Single pressen können, 'Like A Hobo', der 'Schräs-Radio-Mix'.
Super!!
The times, they are a changin.
When I was 14 years old I had my first tape-recorder (mono!) and cut my favourite songs from the radio. So much to say about 'equipment'.
Now to your mix:
If I divide my personal rating for this one by the number of years you are and define this as a kind of 'relative-rating-on-experience-level' then - I think - you are among the Top-10 of this site.
You don't understand what I'm talking about here? Ok, in short:
Very(!) well done, my young friend!
Thumbs up!!!
Not ruined at all, a powerful take on this one. Great!
Long version, but not a single second of it is boring.
Beautiful.
Yes, from two minutes on it's a pearl. Very good!!
There you are again, great!!
Strong take on this one, brilliant, as youyousual.
"Du bist nicht wie wir, nicht wie wir, nein du bist nicht wie wir!"
Stimmt auffallend. Du bist besser.

Super Mix, willkommen in meinen charts.
I like, I like, I like!!
'Very nice!'
These two words were the last ones that appeared in my head listening to this litle ditty.
I hope you put up the wrong file, and the final version is somewhere on your harddisk. If you didn't:
Oh.
Fantastic, Susy is right!
Very nice up to 2:30, brilliant after.
'All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.
Arthur Schopenhauer'
If you find out wherefrom inside this site I copied this comment you can hear another experimental 'monkey'. Perhaps you like him.
Hard stuff, this.
Sorry, hardly any connection of the vocals to the strings, there still is some work to do.
If you want to hear a REALLY minimalistic version(!) with the string section in it, then, hmhm, then, howtosaythis, hm, then listen to my version
I like. Sometimes I felt the vocals were a bit in a hurry, but that's only my ears telling me.
Concerning the title you choose let me say: Great - but wrong: he will always be.
Sometimes life really sucks
The purists will hate you for this one, and looking at your votings I guess they already do.
Let me state that this one sounds great and is a musical highlight. A little variation in instrumentation after the break at about 2:43 would have been nice.
A very good trance-dance-take, perhaps the best until 'Backstage' enters the stage (something that will not happen I fear)
I wish my hair was longer, headbanging is getting difficult with higher age
Great approach, the guitar is working very good. I didn't expect a hard-rock-version would suit that well
P-O-W-E-R!!
Just wanted to ensure you that I like your work here, it's rough, new, strong, and - irritating. But perhaps the compliment in my first posting is too much hidden
Is there any upload not a "Hotpick" today? I don't think so. I can't remember a day in history of RWR with so many high quality remixes in it.
Your mix is definitely not as easy to listen to as some others are, it is full of power and rhythm, sometimes irritating (at least to my ears). The rhythm section at the end reminds me of some stuff a guy called 'Multiman' offered her, and that's no fault at all.
Great version with a very gabriel-esque break at about 2:25.
What a bass
Off the box, great!
Mixes like this one of yours make this place worth staying. Massive musical and creative power, thanks for making and uploading.
Feel yourself confortable in my comp charts. If I remember it right you are used to do so
Welcome back! But April 2009 is not so far away I think.
Very catchy bassline and rhythm, well done.
Close to the original, and good on this.
I listened to this one of yours on Radio Remixed today, i didn't remember it from 2007. What a fault!
This one is very nice, the voice of Patty fits very good. Creative idea.
Interesting mix!
Yes, he could have done it this way, too. This one has radio-hit-quality for sure.
I'm with LS on this one, but:
Ed-picking is dangerous.
Hi Steven,
I hope you understood that there was no offence in my comment.
Forgiven!!
Great intro, up to 0:45 I didn't know what I was listening to. The chosen instruments fit very well, and so does the rhythm. Very creative version on a high musical level.
Chapeau!
PS: Nice to hear Peter's screams in the back
Welcome back Fielding, nice to hear you again!
Woderful dark song, for me it's a Hotpick up to the the point where it turns into dissonance at about 2:10, it's very difficult to listen to from that point on. Must be pretty cold in Finland.
I'm not so sure about the new idea of the Maestro himself. The songs from the new record I heard so far didn't convince me yet. I have a strange feeling that there might be some better musical material up here.![:-]](smilies/embarrased.gif)
Beautiful!!
Yes, we are waiting for the longer one.
I love the original, and you kept the spirit of it. I like your version very much.
Your first remix ever? Though shalt not lie.
I bet this one is one of the best, no matter how many will follow.
If you think that your monkey is minimal, then listen to mine
There are some timing problems in here, but I'm sure you will be able to solve them in the nearer future.
Good first attempt!!
I'm with Fanuk on this one, I do like it more than the original (and I like the original!). Very(!) nice from 2:55 on.
Chapeau, and welcome in my favs.
Congrats on being the first on this one. I do like what I hear.
Second shot, second Hotpick, that's not so bad.
Looks like it took a while to finish this one, but it was worth the while.
Well done!
And now try one with good old Peter in it and go for three of those hot picks in a row.
I'm really curious whether Peters work on the 'New blood' project is able to reach the quality of yours and Studioalphas songs. If I were him I would take some of the songs uploaded here and play these arrangements on tour. High quality, thank you for uploading.
Many new ideas in this one, really great. A hotpick for sure.
That makes it 3000.
Hi there, Steven!
Starting on page 2 again, don't you? I think the guys of RWR had some doubts on the samples you used and so it took some time to get this one started. Long time no see, and it's great to see you on this side of the fence
To your song:
I have some problems with it. Your appearence here is so seldom, and when you come here, you play along for fun, and the result sounds very half-hearted and for sure is not what it could be. I know your potential from your site in the net, and I would really like to hear one single PG-remix of yours with all your heart and all your abilities in it. So this one is not a bad one, but there remains a big 'but' in the end.
Many greetings, keep them coming!
A.
This one is difficult:
1. I love the idea of a mash-mix.
2. I love the melody you created, it is beautiful.
3. But:
4. The connection of the diffrent parts does not convince me over the entire range of the song, from time to time it seems as if their are two radios in the room playing different songs at one time. But that's only me.
Keep them coming!
Oh, three comments without even one smiling face, that's too much grey. Here are some friendly faces until 'youyou' returns to the site
Excellent guitar, I like it a lot. I agree with HaveMercy on the loudness of it. This is a very nice new take with good ideas in it. My bleeding ears (from too much GWF-listening) especially like the new whistling section towards the end.
Great!
No. 1 on Christmas 2009, congratulations!! Looks like you made the charts this week (and I'm not only talking about your song)
At first I didn't realize that you are one of the long time runners here at RWR, but you oviously are. Glad to see that there still are some of your kind.
Greetings
A.
Great production, great music. I luv it!
Ah, I see: Here it is at last.
Feels like seeking for easter-eggs these days.
Youyou is a bit harsh on you: As I see it you vote your own little ditties with a fat zero from time to time. Not only for this reason this one is more than only three stars.
My feet are tapping, my shoulders started to do something looking like seesawing:
Mission fulfilled!!
You are right.
the first.
it's sunday
No,
No.1 on Sunday, 11th of November!
The two of us did a great job, didn't we?
'cause I luv it (again).
Note: This one is hidden on page two of the RWR, and you cannot find it with the help of the search here.
It's only the two of us.

Are friends electric??
Wonderful try on this one. Great!!
Cool!
Barry White is the part I like most. Your version blows some life in dead Edy.
Luv it, nuff sayed.
Fresh new approach.
Great!
My first thought when I read your notes was: "Thou shalt not lie", from your 'ooops' I see you felt the same
Oh yes, these three years up here felt like five years for me, too.
Musically this one is very nice, I'm with Susy on the Led Z.-70's thing. To produce sounds from this era is no fault at all.
Well done!
Long time no hear, but from time to time the forum does a good job.
What an excellent monkey of yours! Yes, this one was one of the first great surprises on this theme. And it is still great.
Quote: If you ever come to Crete you will have free cofee from me
Haha, be careful what you say, a few weeks further on we'll begin to plan next seasons holidays. Crete would be nice.
The sad story behind it makes it impossible for me to do justice to this masterpiece of music. For that reason I'm so late. In short:
It's a musical highlight for me.
The added material from other PG-songs is fantastic.
It's creative to the bones.
All the best to your dad, to you and to the rest of your family.
From time to time life really sucks.
Oh, yes, I see. Perhaps my brain played a trick on me: there were two CHRN club-dance-mixes up the same day, one of King-O (Kingo) and one of King-Luther (Kluther). Thats what my brain told me, sorry. Nevermind: Great music of yours here.
Very close to the original, what is no fault, but not easy for my 'monkey-tired' ears. Good extended-12- inch-version.
Keep them coming!!
I do like this beat!!! And I do like your ideas, very nice. I'm listening with simple headphones, and what can I say: It sounds very good!!
Time to have a coffee.
This one works much better than your other 'King"-mix. I'm with Susy on this one: Wonderful!
Keep on growing!!!!
What a great sound! The "Ella"-parts you added remind me of good old Jean-Michel Jarre, the "Zoolook"-one of him (meant as a compliment, of course).
Great new song!!
No serial stuff, indeed, it changes the whole mood of the original.
Greetings
A.
PS: I'm with you on having fun here, even after all this time.
The new voices in here are a sweet surprise. Very nice take on this one. Brilliant!
Agree with HM on the first part, but afterwards it's a great dark-one of GWF. Wow!
Haha, the MIXER!!!
Great idea, great sound and a great production (again). Let's talk of a new style: youyou-ish.
I hardly identify anything of GWF in here, but I like what I hear. A great piece of art!
Klasse Idee, super umgesetzt. Germany votes 5 stars!
Strong, fresh version! I kove the sounds you created here. I was not sure about the connection of voice and music first, but after a second listening I can state: It fits, it fits wonderful.
Wonderful, powerful. One of the best soldier-songs I heard here.
Well done, Mr. S! An astounding production, great music. Take a full hand for this.
Better late than never:
One of the best interpretations of this song on RWR for sure. Feel yourself welcome in my favs.
Forgot to mention, that this one of yours is great music!
You didn't understand youyou? Perhaps I can help, that's what he is trying to say:

One year, one comment, one voting - strange RWR.
I'm with you on two matters:
1. Yes, it's smooth.
2. Yes, a good final result
And I'm with youyou concerning the end. Time to show us you can do better endings.
Only one question:
Why did you vote it zero stars yourself?
Very nice, and I'm not only talking about the story you told in your remixer notes.
I'm with Susy on this one:
Outstanding!!
Perhaps you have another go with a 'cleared head' now. Curious to hear what might come out of it nowadays.
Wonderful musical ideas in this one. Great! Went straight to my favs, must listen again.
And now you are one of the chosen few!
Congrats!!
Competition closes soon. For me this song of yours is my winner mix, congrats on this.
Every time I listen to this version I have a feeling like meeting an old friend of mine, a really good old friend I say. For my taste the beauty you created here is outstanding, and the effect is the same as it was when I first listened to it in february. Just to say it again:
You are my personal winner, thank you for this wonderful piece of music!!
Competiton closes soon, let me just tell you that you made my personal Top-5 with this one. You are my No. 2 out of all those brilliant mixes. For my taste this version is the one that would fit best on a videoclip for these X-Games, especially (but not only) the parts from 3:19 onwards. Powerful, strong, outstanding. An underdog in this competition, but If I had to choose it would be among the chosen few.
Well done!
Competition comes to ist end, and, surprise, surprise:
This mix of yours made my Top-5 and ended as my personal No.3 out of the whole pile of GWF-mixes. It's the most creative version I found, and I love (LOVE!) the climax at about 2 minutes. I did choose the version without the dark Lord in it, cause I do like this one more.
Good luck in competition, I have a good feeling for your work.
Competition comes to its end, so let me tell you that your song made No. 4 of my personal chosen 5. The new melody and harmony are brilliant.
I'm so glad you found your way back to this place.
If I understand it right this competiton thingi comes to its end soon. For this reason let me tell you one thing:
This song of yours made my personal Top5 and ended at No5. Not a bad thing, I think, there are more than 130 of those GWF-mixes, and I know them all. As I said above I like the marimbas, I like the style, I like the mood, I like the music.
Well done, my friend.
As already mentioned this one has got a strong 'hook' in it, it makes me come back again and again.
A hidden beauty in these GWF-competition-times in 2009.
Very nice.
Nice little details in this one. Great version, sound of the drum reminds me of some Multiman-stuff up here, what is not a bad thing. Killer guitar-play in the second half!!
Great!!
Great version, I love the part at about 1:40.
For me one of the best versions with the dark Lord inside. Many other mixers did not succeed in harmonizing the different styles of good old GWF and Rap-music. Your version is brilliant on this! And it's powerful and sounds good as well.
Well done, let's see where it ends. I can really imagine this one running in the back of a spectacular video-trailer for X-games.
Ah, forgot to say: Yes, I do like it!
Missed this one til tonight. Will not miss again, put it in my favs for that reason. It sounds so good!!!
Well done!
Sweet? No, it's sweeeeeeeet!!!
Very, very nice!
Really great music up here these days.
So beautiful, very well done.
Good to see (hear) you back here!!!
It's. it's. it's. it's. marvelous!
Again.
Oh, this one makes it difficult, cause there are only 5 slots in my Top5, and I thought I finished it. Must think it over again, this one is so nice. Marimbas are great, and so is the rest.
Far away from being perfect, but great to see that this is a Hotpick! Well deserved, and I like it.
Brilliant!
Yessss!!
I like those strings, too. There was another string-based-'remix' in the good old days, can't remember who made it.
I really like your version, great! And I'm only at 6:40 while writing this.
Forgot to say one thing:
Greetings from Recklingsen back to Uppsala!!
For sure a pleasing new one. And I'm talking about the mixer, not the song. The 'new Bitley' is constructive in his criticism and friendly to the rest of us here. I like it!!
And now to this song of yours : Pleasing(!), very nice, new, great sounds; of course not a zilch, but a full hand. Musically there is no change: High level, as usual.
Keep them coming.!
Please don't miss the other version of this song:

It's no secret that the early version of this wonderful tune marked a very special moment in my personal relationship to RWR and the people in here.
Your original mix was about life and death, too, but to put it in this context is kind of a break in the 'daily-life-as-usual'. Makes me think, makes me sad, makes me think again - Folks, life around here is pretty good and easy.
Neda, we won't forget you!
Your best so far. The first part sometimes reminds me of "Massive Attack" (e.g. 1:36). Creative, nice sounds added, new ideas do fit, I like it up to 3 minutes, and I do like the rest up to the end at 8:03. Nice guitar!!
I'm so sorry, but this one does not work for me, too. I don't want to be that negative, cause I like your passion and your ideas, but I don't feel the parts you added do really fit. And I say this without being able to to that better than you (naked truth spoken), but that's what my ears tell me. Listen to what the pro's tell you on your mixes, follow their advice and: keep on mixing, please!!
Only in short:
Copyright on my 'title' is owned by a lovely lady in the USA, a pity she is not with us any longer.
And on my prophecy: We talk again in the midst of July my friend.
Excellent version with some extraordinary beautiful parts. Fav!
No need to watch a boaring football-match, you can meet Studioalpha at Womad, one of you two has the tickets for free.
"The guitar is perfect!!!!!!"
(It's my 12 year old daughter talking here)
Have you ever been to Womad-festival? No? Perhaps you better begin to look after a cheap ticket for the bus.
A pity (for you) that you don't live on the other side of the great water.
No.1, Congrats, and well deserved!
One of the best so far. And probably the best one that included the voice of Lord J. But he is talking about snow, perhaps you have a go with the new summer vocals.
My five are in.
Very nice version. And: As you wished the upload limit is up to 8 MB. Perhaps you take another go.
This one sounds so good, and it's the music I like!
Very nice, went straight to my favs.
Take five!!
Oh, what happened to your ratings? Is there a competition running?
Strange RWR.
I do enjoy it, too.
Ha, more smilies from me than you got from youyou.
Those were the days, my friend!!
Wonderful version, forgot to say this in 2007.
Greetings
AF
Love the second part of this, really great stuff!!
I will do my very best!
Here is a nice one from this site:
http://www.realworldremixed.com/remix.php?remix_id=bx4dm2_E1QGe83mV
I'm a fan of mash-mixes, and I love this one, too. If you are interested in crazy mashmixes, please check out this page:
http://www.bobbymartini.co.uk/
Have fun!!
No, sorry, this one does not work for me. There are at least two songs in it, the one you made and the one with this ol' Pete singin. There is hardly a combination of both. And there are so many different ideas in this track of more than 8(!) minutes. Perhaps you could focus on some of them next time. The parts near the end are better than the beginning (thats what my ears tell me, I'm not able to do that better than you did.)
I would rate 2, give you 3 for your efforts and to avoid frustration.
Be honest:
You waited to post this one 'til RWR began to put remixers remixes on records. True, isn't it?
This one of yours is beautiful as it is. No need for Pete ore someone else to lay hand on. And for sure this is one of the best (the best?) versions of this 'nice' little thingi called "Tiger phone card", only for moi, of course.
I just noticed that it's a promising nickname, not a promising title.
Promising title. For my ears the intro is too long, and the whole song is not homogen enough to fly high (remember it's me saying this, and I know what I'm talking about .
)
The part from 2:28 is nice, so is the sound of most parts of it.
Lots of pontential in this one, and lots of potential left.
Let them come!!
PS: Who is the angry man talking at 4:30? I didn't recognize him.
Welcome to RWR, first shot, first Hotpick. WOW!
Promising beginning, well known sounds and structure from 1:15 on. Excellent sound, very nice version of this beautiful song.
I rate it only four stars to keep you struggling for more, it's 4.4 for me. Well done!!
Congrats for being put on a real record!!
Well deserved!! RWR is alive!!!
I did listen to this song of yours a few days ago and must confess that I didn't like it, first. What a mistake! Tonight there is enough time to have another go, and:
WOW, just WOW (in BIG letters, imagine them blinking)!!
Tethia, your secret is no longer a secret: You come from northern europe and your name is Bjork, no doubt about that. Wonderful singing, wonderful version!
Well done!!
Mastering 1, Song 5 ! Please reload!!!
I like everything you added here, very nice new arrangement. Love the keyboards.
How did I miss this beauty?
Very nice! Again.
Brilliant!
Welcome to RWR!
Ha!
It's a test, isn't it? I know what you are able to produce and this version of 'games' has nothing to do with your personal musical skills.
A test.
But what did you want to test?
Brilliant, another master of dancefloor around here. Perhaps you are interested to hear some things another genius of that genre created:
http://www.realworldremixed.com/remix.php?remix_id=Hyl0HP3ewlUakjpl
Check it out. But he didn't give the monkey a try yet.
Again: Your monkey is brilliant!
Me again. Let me first state, that the climax at about 2 minutes is absolutely stunning. Unbelievable!
And now to the criticism (Ha, you didn't expect this, did you?
)
Listen:
Upload-limit is at 8 MB, your version is only 4.3, you see? There is some hidden potential even for you.
Pontial? What does 'pontial' mean?
'Potential' was meant to be written down here. Or 'creative mastermind' or something like this.
You are one of the high-pontials on this site. Thank you for this masterpiece!
You haven't been there, haven't you? No? NO?
Oh, yes, you said so. I remember. But I hoped you changed your mind.
Is there ANYTHING that might interest us out here concerning you winning this comp ?
More than a remix, you made this one your own and created a new feeling on it, as 'youyou'sual.
You are one of the chosen few mixers here that are recognizable from their compositions, what is not a bad thing for me.
Well done my friend!!
PS: Only Hans, Lotti and the others in this mix, or is Louise doing her first job in music, too?
Excellent!
It's so difficult to make this song as listenable as you made it. Only a few mixers here succeeded in this aim.
I'm not so sure about the 'break' in this song. Accident? Sky falling down? Fingenail broken?
Ok, not No. 1 this time, but two songs in the special mentions is not so bad, too.
Congrats on this. Every tune of yours was able to win this thing, that's a fact. Please keep on running!!
And the winner is: OXXO!
Well done my friend! Please, please let us all see a video of you jamming on stage. Please!!!!!
Congrats!!
Holy Pete, another winner.
One question: Which one of yours would you choose to win?
If we trust the guys on RWR the competiton on "Setal" comes to an end soon. Let me tell you that your version ended as my personal No. 1 out of all those great tunes here. For me it's quiet sure that you will win this competition again, hopefully with this one of yours.
There was only a short phase of doubt to put you in the pole-position due to your personal behaviour of voting (check the forums to understand what I mean). But what you do (and did) is legal in the sense of the rules here, and for that reason it did not change my mind at least. Perhaps you think it over next time.
I wish you all the best, good luck in competiton, have fun on stage.
If we trust the guys on RWR the competiton on "Setal" comes to an end soon. Let me tell you that your version ended as my personal No. 2 out of all those great tunes here. It is very, very nice to listen to! No need to say it's well executed, too.
Good to know that people like you still are here at RWR and make this place such a musical highlight.
Veel succes!
If we trust the guys on RWR the competiton on "Setal" comes to an end soon. Let me just tell you that your (short) version ended as my personal No. 3.
It would be very nice to see you performing this one on stage soon.
Good luck to you!!
If we trust the guys on RWR competiton on "Setal" comes to an end soon. Let me tell you that your version ended as my personal No. 4. No, it's not perfect, but among all the versions of "Setal" this one has a special taste I like and that makes it unique.
Good luck to you!!
If we trust the guys on RWR competiton on this one comes to an end soon. Let me tell you that your version ended as my personal No. 5 in the end. You did a great jo here, good luck to you!
This one would work on stage together with Daby. Very well done. Sorry that there is no slot left in my personal Top-5, but: this one is worth to win, too.
Good luck!
Oh yes, it's nice, and it's commercial. And it is great! And I liked to listen more than once. And it sounds very good. And it went straight to my favs. And: welcome! And:
Gosh! A zero rating without any competition running. And even without listening to this one (and to the 'Smile"-one, too).
What did I do to make you my enemy?
Gosh, a zero rating without any competition.
Respect!!
Great! I love it.
<upstairsagain>
"Magnetic fields" it was.
I have a 'Jean Michel Jarre' feeling on this one. Must listen to this record of him again. Must find out, which one it was.
<leavingnowsearchingtheboxesinthecellar>
Sorry: Forgot to say that this one is very nice!
As my friend youyou already said: This one sounds good! I like the new structure and the sound colour you created. This one is No 2 that enters my personal Top5.
Tres bien, monsieur!
Yes, with some extra mastering this one will sound even better than now (gosh, it's me talking about mastering.)
But for me that is not the point, I am able 'to hear behind it':
Music is great in this one, your ideas are good and fresh. Before uploading the next ones try to master each new one a bit more than your last one, and very soon everything will be fine!
Well done!
Very peaceful!
I'm always impressed by your ability to 'rethink' and rearrange the tunes. Another diamond. A ratehr dark one, but shining!
Very original, very well executed, one of the best so far (at least for my ears).
P-O-W-E-R!!!!!
You had lots of fun making it? I had lots of fun listening to it!!!
The purists will hate you for this one!
Very interesting dark version. More than a remix.
New and strong, very nice ending from about 3:20 on. Great attempt!
The first and only one til today (1503) that finds the way to my Top-5! And: Yes, it's too short!!!
Well done!
I did read all the comments before listening and was prepared. I switched off the memory of what I expected to hear, and by this means this one of yours works very well (at least for my ears)!
Well done!
Very good! I do like the 1:30 section, too. Cool arrangement there. By the way: Is Kate singing reversed in the background?
Wonderful! This one is a beauty!
Your remixers notes made me curious: Trying something different but at the same time stick to the basis? Seemed difficult to me (like being a philosoph and member of a death-trash-metal band at the same time. Hmm, why do I mention this here?
). After beginning to listen I knew what you wanted to do, and you succeeded in! This one is different, and it's good on this. And the spirit of the 'Games" is in it, too. Good soundscape on top makes it a very enjoyable remix. Thank you for making it!
Ah, there it is, the long(er) one. Fantastic!
Even Adolf is happy again.
Great mix, great arrangement, great ideas, great sound:
Well done, Mr. G!!
A.
(sorry for being this late)
One of the best ones of this song. Great!!
Super! Great version, but too short!
And the ending is a bit quiet.
The original mix started on page two of RWR, because there were 11 new mixes at a time and space on page one only for ten. Bad luck, this is.
For me this one stands on his own two feets, and I must confess that I do like it more than the reffering mix. For this reason the only thing to criticize is:
This one is awfuly short.
I read my statement from above and must set something clear: Musicaly the "Adolf"-section is very ok, but my thoughts went elsewhere and felt frosty there. I didn't want this song to be taken there, but if this was your aim it's ok and let me state: it worked!
Speedwise I am not sure about the first 30 seconds, but then it grows and is cool. And it has(!) speed!
Let me try to resume this in one word:
Uuuhhaaaagrumfzafüzzz!
If this is the result of a lung infection, then I wish you have a horrible year concerning your health.
Very pro, very creative, but: very short! Ok, I blame it on the disease.
The transformation of parts into midi works well, there are many interesting and good-sounding pieces in this one, and it works as a complete song, too. Sound quality is high, drums are very good (as mentioned above):
Well done!
Play this to me without saying who mixed this and let me guess, hmm, let's say, twice:
FIELDING!!
For me this works well, it's new and different.
By the way:
I have been to a party last weekend. Caution: Causes headache.
<Ouch>
It's difficult for the 'Lord Jamar' mixes to stand on this site, cause there are many PG-purists here. This one is not a PG track, it's a Lord Jamar track, and it's good on this. For my taste it would have been great even without any PG in it.
For me the experiment works! The rhythm is great!
Better than the first one, much more constant and homogen.
Without the voice of Peter this one sounds like a song of "Kraftwerk". For my taste a little bit too much 'Adolf' in the beginning of it, but an interesting approach. Sound is great (as usual).
African drums, I like them! And very MIGHTY drums from 4:30 on!!! A good take!
Great instrumentation and production. Perhaps the drums do need a little variation (but you know who says this.)
I do remember the news-alert when the old cowboy made this 'joke' you put in here. Nice to hear that after such a long time and to see, that times did! change a lot.
And:
Oh yes, it has been a while. Good to see you back on the block!
Sounds good to my ears. Wide stereo, good new arrangement, some very nice sounds in it.
Well done!
Oh yes, it was 1987, September. One week before Peter played in Stockholm I saw the show in Bochum, Germany (just took the old ticket from the drawer. Who is that good looking young man with the dark hair upon that ticket? I don't remember.)
It was marvelous, magic! This concert was so impressing to me that I decided to stop listening to music for two months, just to prevent my memory from being 'overwritten'. I saw Peter live for several times since then, but 1987 was the highlight.
Those were the days.
Many interesting ideas in this one, maybe too many, feels not so homogen like your "Games-remix" does (people, check that one out!!). But it's nice to see where creativity leads you to.
A. <Fan>
'If whistlings could kill.'
.would have been a nice title for this one, the whistling parts really sounds frightening. What do the 'ghosts' try to tell us there?
The heavy beat fits well, and I second the Curley on the breaks and structure being interesting.
Hot guitar!!
I really like your redesign, there are fresh things in here. And it sounds good, classy use of the stereo-field.
Gosh!
Make a song a 'Hotpick' and watch the ratings go down. Strange Realworld!
Interesting approach, though not my cup of tea stylewise. Cool new sounds.
From your remix notes I expected a rhythm like in the version of the 'Plays live'-album. At first I didn' find it, but then I realized the groove you added is similar to that on the album and still is not only a copy. Powerful!!
Well done, I do really like this one!
Yes, this one is fresh, new and sounds good!
Do I understand this right:
'parti des voix sans connaitre la version originale'
You didn't know the original? How comes?
Some nice parts in this one, but I'm not sure about the tempo and the tempo-changes. The lack of response from the other listeners here is a hint that they feel similar.
There are about 4 possible remixes in this one. Perhaps you try to focus on one of them on your next go. Let them come!!
Hi there, Patrick, it has been a while!
There are new challenges at RWR. Just wanted to tell you.
A. <waitingforapowersongofGamesWithoutFrontiersofyou>
Giant opening, great sound, great song!
Klasse!!!
Full sound, classy arrangement, stylish whisteling section, veeery well done, Klangbraus*!
One little note months too late:
Don't take Colabs comment too serious. He is the one who finds the most little minor fault in EVERY! mix and song ever made, even in the perfect ones.
And he always means it positive!
I do know Colab and his comments for a while and can tell you what he really means if he does only talk of one minor point:
"This one is very, very good!"
Colab, I second this!
Aaah, forgot to say one thing.
Don't mind the 'voting-worms'. There are some jealous guys out there. That has nothing to do with the class of your mix, only with the lack of class in theirs.
This one is great, folks, believe me. And hidden in it is the perfect one. So much space, so many brilliant harmonies, only a few changes and a little more guitarplay like in the end and there it is. It's not on me to tell you these things, but my ears tell me this is by far the nicest one til today.
Feel yourself hotpicked.
Respect!
I like the new mood you created on this one. The military drumbeat fits well. Dark, but great! And the sound is great, too.
I didn't remember this one. What a fault. Great music!
Yes, sounds like a garage band. A little variation on the drums would have suited well, but: I like it!
And all you out there at RWR:
Is there any reason why nobody votes and comments on this one? Any serious diseases to expect doing so? Something like sudden heart atta
How it really sounds? It sounds good over here!
This is a strong take on this song, the new sounds are great! Guitarplay from 3:35 on is hot!
A well deserved Hotpick for sure. The guy who made this one knows what he is doing (this is what my ears tell me).
The 'whisteling'-part is great! And so is the rest.
Aaaaaaaanoooooootheeeeeeerrrr greeeeeeat reeeeeeeemiiiiiiiiiiiixxxxxxxxx offffffffffff yoouuuuuuuuuuuuursssssssssss.
I did also think of 'San Jacinto' in the beginning. Not a bad sign, I think.
Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful!!
The new chords are wonderful, very nice guitarplay, this one is a jewel, I love the mood of it.
Welcome to RWR! And please go on remixing!!
Oh, the spell works.
The beginning of this one reminds me of the 'Linking Park' song 'Numb' in the version together with rapper Jay-Z. If you don't know that one, check it out. Rap and Pop/Rock can work.
Klangbrausi? Klangbrause?
Have you forgotten the password to your old account?
Hmm, this is obviously another remix with the "Don't-comment-on-me"-spell on it. Let' see:
(Imagine me talking VERY LOUD)
"Salmei-dalmei-adomey, vanish, vanish, vanish!!"
Let's hope it works.
Not only nice: Veeeee-ry nice!!
I love the things you added, especially in the PG parts, the new harmonies sound fantastic.
Welcome to RWR, and: please keep on going!!
chalnneges ?
Perhaps I meant 'challenges'.
Sorry for typos.
Great mix. Very cinematic, full sound, different.
Well done. And there are new chalnneges at RWR.
Oh yessss! Brilliant, as expected!
I think this was kind of easy for the Hot-Pick-Crew. Very pro, and very much fun listening over here.
Did I ever tell you you are doing a good job here?
Yes?
Ah, I see. Otherwise I would have told you now.
PS: Luv the part from 2:00 on!
Hi there!
This one of yours is a bit too 'full' for my ears. I must confess I switched over to your "Hope Springs Eternal" soon after finishing this one, and I liked the other one more (and that is astounding, cause for sure I like the original 'Games' more than 'Sima Edy'). For those of you who don't know that Edi-song of Lanigans Van: check it out!
And: You wanted to subvert the bridge a little? You totally succeeded!!!
I listened to this one after listening to the dark and loud one of you (Look out remix). Two totally different versins in such a short time, chapeau!
And for my taste this one is even better than the other one. Keep them coming: A remix the day keeps the doctor away.
"Games" do hide for 50 seconds and appear very dark afterwards. Very interesting approach. And a very interesting variation of the "whisteling tunes." part at about 3 minutes.
Yes, these good old synthies, I remember them well. Those were the days.
Yes, the production is a 'bit' smaller than in the original version, but from your notes I see that this was your aim, and for that reason you did well!
And now go for the one with the great , 'more talented' producer!
I have nothing to add to my comment from May/05/2007
Very experimental, I hope your love likes it!
Long time ago there were some time-stretched monkeys up here, I think it's possible that you like them:
http://www.realworldremixed.com/remix.php?remix_id=rOPWH72-BgffHbs.
http://www.realworldremixed.com/remix.php?remix_id=4yZo6Vq33v2rGSDh
Hallo Serge!
Der Meister ruft, und alle, alle kommen.
Suuper sound, cooler groove, fetter Bass, total 'schräs' eben.
Klasse!
PS: 'Dreck am Stecken' ist auch klasse.
Welcome to RWR!
A very nice 12-inch-version! I like the extended parts you created.
Well done!
Wow, the first one that sounds different! The first voting you received shows, that not all of the listeners think it's a good idea to mix it this way.
You also are the first to use 'Lord Jamar' in the mix. As I said in the forums: Some of you mixers out there are able to do better than he did. You are one of those!
Very cool use of the whistling section in the end!!
The way you manipulated the voice is extra-ordinary. Feels like a new song is sung here.
Extra-ordinary are the new instruments, brilliant. I think the combination of both does not make it stronger, but after all this is a strong one!
Amazing, miss you, too!
Little hint if you read this:
Since a few days there is an interesting mix-pack of Peter G. up here.
If this is the beginning of your mixing-career: Keep them coming! The sound is great, some nice ideas in it, I like the deep dark noises and the breaks you added.
PS: I add one star extra to my voting, cause it seems there are voting-worms ahead.
I'm not a friend of the original, but your version is great!
First time I hear of a flu that has done something positive.
Ah, here it is. And it's a nice one.
Well done!
Could have been a bit louder.
I like the first part, and I like the rest. Great music of you here!
Good arrangement, nice added 'thingis', and a very cool bass! Your first remix? Keep on rolin', please!
Very nice one!
One question:
What happened in the second at 2:50? Something dropped down on the keyboard?
Congratulations for being the first one on this song! And your version makes appetite for more: It's well balanced, close to the original (which is no fault in my humble opinion), but not too close.
I think the whistling-section will cause bleeding listener-ears in the future after hearing a few hundreds of them, but yours is very nice!
Well done, my stars are in!
Wonderful idea, wonderful execution, wonderful song!
Suuu-per!!
After listening to 50 od so versions of "Kunlarim sensiz" the effect appears, that all in this song is well known: the structure, the voices, the beat. It's hard for mixes to stand out of the pool of mixes at that point.
But from time to time there are mixes that are different and are new. This one of yours is such a mix, creative to the bones, I like it very much. Even if it's very late:
Take all my stars and welcome to my favs.
For me one of the best on this one!
Very strong!!!
Chapeau, youyou!
This is one of the most interesting up-tempo-monkeys in the whole pool. I know this monkey of yours for a while now, and it's still a pleasure to listen to. I agree with the people above me: Great one!
Greetings
A.
Lost in translation.
What I really wondered:
"Would you be able to take this one out of the box?"
You did so many times with so many mixes before.
This one is in the box.
Free Edy!!!
I do remember well when I listend to the first remixes of Edy last year. I asked myself:
'Would Loveshadow be able to put some magic to this - hmmm, let's say - special piece of music?'
I didn't expect an answer cause you were off. Now this one of yours is here and it's brilliant: brilliant in music, brilliant in production, brilliant in style. But it does not fly so high above some of the other remixes of Edy as some of your other mixes on other songs did.
Good to know that your well known and truly missed magic is only one mouseclick away.
Greetings
A.
I listened to the new single of U2 today and was totaly disappointed. So I returned to this 'U2-song' and the smile came back to my face. This one is so brilliant!
Sometimes the beauty is hidden amongst a pile of songs up here at RWR. I'm glad I found this one, it's excellent!
Brilliant!
Great version! The parts you added are stunning.
Oh yes, very good!!! My stars are in!
Again a high quality remix of yours, wonderful! And it's quite an honour for me to see you mentioned my name under it. Thank you for that, too. A few weeks ago I began to write down three little things each day that were positive (I confess there are days I don't find three things.). Your note is on that list!
Happy holidays to you and your beloved.
Andreas (the one with the "F")
Hi there my friend!
Another great take of you. Unsusual as usual (does that make any sense?)I did burn my password to RWR, but couldn't resist again.
My five are in! And I did find the correct link to this one on my own.
PS: Please do never(!) stop to make music.
Good luck!
You are my No.1!
Wow, just "WOW"!!
The 'twin' is deleted, thank you web-team.
This one is up twice, I asked the webteam to delete this one. Don't vote and comment here, take the 'Edy 160".
Thanks!
Upps, I uploaded this one twice, because there was no reaction on my first attempt. Please do not listen to the "Jungle Edy", listen to this one.
I hope the webteam will delete the other tune.
Thank you!
Brilliant!
This monkey is really big! Don't know how I missed to meet him til today.
5 and fav.
The best one for me. And believe me: I listened to all of them.
Thank you very much!
Beautiful!
Feel yourself comfortable in my competition-charts!
I don't understand how this works without the help of a Mac/PC, but: it works!!!
Great!
High quality (as usual)!! And so many crazy ideas! I adore those of you who are able to put some flesh on this bone.
Very well done!
Very interesting version. I like the 'slow-down' of it.
Great!
Seems you have a fan on this one.
I had an army experience like you mentioned, too. Must have been February 1983 I think. The only good thing was: We hat no spinach soup at that time.
Great approach on this one. Did I mention I am a fan of your work up here at RWR? No? Wait til next winter, then I will tell you.
Lots of magic in this one of yours.
Very good music.
Oh yes!
Seems as if you are one of the few that brought some life into this song, it's definitly much better than the original. Now I would like to hear a contest-song of yours, perhaps you are able to make the same wonder happen twice.
Many greetings
Andreas
Strong and fresh monkey!!
Feel yourself comfortable in my favs.
Gooody, gooody, gooody!!!
This one of yours passed me by til today. Thanks Tethia for putting it to light.
Very relaxing, very good music!
Awfuly short. That's the only thing I can criticize on this one my friend. Not that I want to criticize it, but if, you know, than that would be the point.
This one's a goody!
No. 1 again, congratulations!
Susy1214 is looking for the lyrics of this one (see in the forums). I do really hope that the meaning of the words is not too pessimistic (starving/dying children or something horrible like that), because that would kill your optimistic approach. Unless this happens:
For me this is still the best one so far.
I'm surfing the net tonight and have RWR-radio switched on. I heared some tunes, switched off some more (strange music up here.) and then came this one! I did not recognize at once that it was you, but from the first second my attention was rising. Giant sound, great production, wonderful music.
You don't find such jewels up here these days.
Oooops!
I'm very sure I left a comment on this one today evening. It seems it vanished. Let's see what I remember after half a bottle of read wine in between:
There was 'the beginning made me curious' followed by a 'from 0:48 on it is very nice' and finished with a little note about Carol: 'your girl friend must be very proud and happy today'.
So that's was it, I think. Hmm, - Aah: Your song is wonderful! No, it's not perfect, but it's wonderful. Well done. Welcome to my personal favs.
I like it. Smooooth!
Well done!
Crazy!
Much better than the original!
Absolutely stunning from 3:10 on!
Well done!
Very interesting, I like this one of yours a lot.
Well done!
Holy Pete, this one burns!!
Very original and so well executed. I love the choir and all the things you added here. A well deserved Hotpick.
Marvelous!!
Take five. You made a very optimistic song out of this one. The girls in the back are veeery nice.
The best one I heard so far!
Welcome in my charts!
Yes, there is someone out here who likes this one!
Great version, great new sounds in here!
Veeeery nice mood, veeery nice music!
The first one that enters my personal competition-charts.
.'seye ruoy nI' yeknom a ees ot eciN
Great version!
Good to hear that you are alive!!!
Ha, ha, very nice!
I give you 4plus for music creation and the mixing and one extra-star for the idea and the storyline.
Dirty mix!!!
I didn't miss any finger on this one.
Just another creative Hotspot of yours, very crazy, very well done, very nice to listen to this variation of BBB.
And take an extra star for your notes, that equals 6 then.
Ooops.
Wow! Just Wow!
This one was in my 'Favs' even without bassline. Now there are two of them.
Very, very well done!!
Hi there, Maria!
Sorry, I missed this one back in 2006 cause I took a break after the monkey-wars. So glad I found it today. It's one of the few "IIHMY" I like to listen to from the beginning to the very end. Creative, powerful, and lots better than the original version!
Went straight to my favs.
Greetings
Andreas
PS: Perhaps you could tell me a secret: How did you manage to stop with this RWR-thingi? I did fail doing so several times and would be graceful for a hint.
60 different RT mixes up here by now.
Just to mention this.
Chapeau!
The pain starts short time after this song of yours stops. It's awfully short! And this is absolute the only thing I don't like on this one.
Beautiful!
Swedish midsummers must be wonderful. I've never been there at that time of year, but I can imagine the taste and the mood of it now.
Thanks colab!
Superb!
A pearl hidden in the piles of songs.
Very nice!!
Sergio, don't do that!!!
Oh, the voting-worms are back. I have a strange feeling that they do not live very far away from you.
Folks, listen to this one LOUD. I played it many times on my stereo since today. Perfect!
Forgot to say: Yes, must be Laryy Mullen jr. on the drums as well!!
Very U2ish, what is a great thing. The new style fits perfect on this song. And those guitars!! I didn't know 'Edge' and 'Adam' stayed in italy recently.
Max, is there anything in making music you are not able to?
Didn't listen yet, but wanted to be the first one here.
Oh, that was very fast!!
Congratulations, it's a mash-mix!!! I can even hear some monkey-screams in it, do I? Very nice one!
I like it!!
Totally underrated track.
Great remix, a well deserved Hotpick. The new added instruments fit perfect and paint a wonderful new mood.
Great job, take 5 stars.
One little addition for a new-be at RWR:
I noticed the average of the votings you gave to songs of other mixers. See: If you want to vote a song a 'good song' it's five stars here at RWR, not only "one".
Keep on mixing!!
This blue ball of yours is really BIG!
Waiting for your other mixes of BBB to come.
It has been a while, but this one is still great!
P-O-W-E-R!!
Wow, this one developes to a powersong at it's best! Great!!
Do I hear a little bit of 'Frankie goes to Hollywood' in it? Not a fault.
Long time no hear. Here.
Easy listening, but on a very high musical level (as usual, just to mention this again). This one makes me smile from deep within from the beginning to the end.
Yes, perhaps 'PG is doing pretty good without you'. But it's always great to hear the result of PG and LS in a virtual colaboration.
Hope it won't need another six months
Greetings
A
Nice try, I like it.
Keep them coming!!!
If I were Ol' Pete I would play this one on my next tour. For sure it would be a highlight for us fans to listen to.
Very nice (as I told before I think
)
If you think you have heard them all.
.then there appears such a beauty like yours! It has been a long time I heard such a nice one. So much feeling.
Congratulations! And a big 'Thank you' for making it!!
And the final is just WOW!!
Brilliant!
No need to say that there are lots of new ideas here, well done!!
And: Nice imagination to perform this one together with the band.
Outstanding beautiful!
5, favs and sorry for being that late.
I like the intro
and I do like the rest . It's beautiful.
Brilliant!
For my ears this is one of the best and most interesting versions of this track up here.
Is there anybody out there???
This is very good. And this is excellent for a first mix. If you didn't tell nobody would know.
It's a pity that you did not upload another one, cause this one shows high potential. Agree with the comments on 3:39 and later: Great cinema!
Please try again. The monkey's the limit.
Holy Pete, what a great version of 'Bliss' this is!!
Strange things happen. I do like this one. I do like it as I do like this one:
http://www.realworldremixed.com/remix.php?remix_id=3hcdnFenO_Z7iSOR
Signal404/Rev Mara -
Hmmm. Must think it over.
We don't need no education.
I think there is David Gilmore on guitar, is he?
I like this production of yours very much. I'm not quite sure about the reversed reteP, and so I will give you only 4 stars. But I will shiver on clicking and hit the fifth one by chance (you know what I mean.)
Nice to see you 'back'. One month for one song is not what we are used to from you.
Greetings to Austria!!
16.06.2008:
Nach einem historischen 7:7 sind Deutschland und sterreich gemeinsam für das Viertelfinale qualifiziert. <just kidding>
Funcle, all time spent and all the work worked was good time and good work. This one is really "WOW" (as youyou mentioned already). The "Too much at stake"-part at 3:28 is great, there could have been a second one of this if you ask me. Thank you for mixing this! And take 5.
By the mash-way:
Perhaps you like these monkey-mixes, too:
http://www.realworldremixed.com/remix.php?remix_id=MDeUx8GWRWISBMbW
http://www.realworldremixed.com/remix.php?remix_id=k5otpVTkpyW7ijWv
Fantastic dance-version of 'Bliss'!!!
Take 5!
WOW!!! Great work!!
Wow, the strings are just wow. And the mood is, too. And I agree on the Pink Floyd-thingi.
I was waiting for really mighty incoming drums in the last third of the song. That would not have been that relaxing, but fitting (imho). Perhaps you think about it and offer us another version.
5 and fav!!
Welcome back!
This is a very cool version, I like it a lot. Hope it's not the last one we hear from you.
To the music first:
Another great one of yours. Creative and technical on a high level. Another 5 stars-mix for me.
And now to you personally:
I think I see some frustration in your comment on this mix. And I see a "Good bye" on your remixer-page. Alex, don't go!! Your brilliant music is needed here for sure. Many of us felt kind of diappointed in one or the other way over the last months and learned to deal wit it. Believe me: it's worth it!!
Keep on running, please!
Andreas
(still waiting for a longer version of your 'Like a cloud' remix)
WOW!!
This one is great!!!
As time goes by.
Very nice track!! Great change at 3:07 and "High end" from that point on.
A well chosen Hotpick.
A year has passed, easter-time again. I remember the times in 2007, times of strong emotions. And I still like this tune of yours.
Hope you are doing well, have a nice easter-time!
Greetings
A.
Outstanding is the right word for this song of yours. So peaceful and melancholic. More than just a remix. Thanks for making and please give a big 'thank you' to your friend Mikael.
Brilliant monkey-mix!
My favourite part starts at about 1:30. Very interesting to listen to from beginning to end.
Let them come.
Calling occupants. <just kidding>
Very good, good ideas, good sound, good remix!!
Oh, three comments?
The spell works.
Oh yes, it works.
The problems with this one were:
It started on page two when it was uploaded. It was hard to find there. And if you found it, there was Mickey-mouse singing in it (wrong sample rate I guess). I can only tell what I felt: Mickey was terribly disgusting!! And so I decided to ignore this one, and I think, the others did, too.
Now Mickey is off and everything is nice. I bet a short comment of yours, that the file was uploaded wrong and will be fixed might have helped.
Oh, it works:
For my ears the drums are a bit monotonous, there is little (no?) variation in it. But I like your monkey. He has his own style and very nice sounds in it. Thanks for making him.
For me it's a 3,5 star monkey, but I vote him 5 stars to bring him into next weeks Top-20. Perhaps your monkey gets more attention by this mean. He deserves it!
OK, I think it's high time to break the "Don't-vote-and-comment-on-this-one'.
'Shhhhock! Shhhhock! SHHHHOCK!!!
Might work.
Wow, just wow!!
Great atmosphere, a new suit for the 'Bliss'-one. You wanted to make it film like? You did, and you did it very good! To use your heart is not a bad way if you go remixing.
By the way: I fear the 8 mb-message on the upload-page is a relict from the good old times. They changed it do 4.5, I bet they forgot to change the message on the upload-page.
Just realized that it was you who played this lovely guitar parts, I first thought 'Ibanez Hollowbody' was a local alcoholica.
Chapeau, maestro! Can't stop listening.
First shot, first Hotpick - Congratulations!! And a well deserved one if you ask me. (Nobody will of course)
The new harmonies/melodies are veeeeery nice to listen to, especially from 2:12 on.
Please let them come, the monkey's the limit.
Stars and Fav
As I said above:
It's very nice to see my 'old' friends here!! Reminds me of the good-ol' times here at RWR.
Thanks again for taking the time to listen and comment. CU!
Andreas
Ladys and gentleman, RWR proudly presents:
The remix with not a single comment on it!!
.
.
.
.
OOOPS--
Yes, yes, yes!
And when you upload the correct version: please make it a bit longer!
For me it does (!) work!!
This is a very nice one!
For my taste you created one of the best remixes of 'Bliss' ever! The new 'look' is great, and so is the oboe-part. Love the strings, too. Congratulations!! (And sorry for being that late)
5 and favs!
Nice to see where it all began. Not nice to hear, but nice to see.
Your monkey is the one with the lowest number of listeners out of the whole pile (end of February 2008). I really can't understand, how this could happen:
This one is strong, new and well produced! I really like your monkey. Thanks for sharing!
A work of art. Brilliant!
Unbelievable!
Your song is so easy to listen to (compared to the original), so well produced and so full of sounds, power and creativity.
Wonderful!
Went straight in my favs. And sorry for being that late.
I love this one!! The mood you created is such a beauty. Very nice!!
It's a beautiful day!
One the one hand side there is an unexpected charts-result I'm very glad about (screenshot for my grandsons is taken
)
And even more than this: To see the 'old' friends passing by, taking the time to comment and having fun on this one does mean even more to me.
Thanks a lot!!
Thanks for your warm words and the explanation of the voting accident. Greenhill, I couldn't (and didn't) believe that you did something like this, and I'm really thankful for your second posting here. I'm still trying to take RWR not so serious, and I'm still failing when I got some music of mine up here, cause it's my heart that's in there.
Thanks again!
Andreas
Math in the morning. Just realized, that the second one was a 0. Let's talk about frustration now.
These are the things I don't understand here:
Two positive comments, two votings: One is 5, the other one is 1.
Is there a competition running?
Hurry up and give us the right file!! If you dont, we make this one No.1 this week.
Wow!
This one is just wow!
Beautiful! I love the part beginning at 0:52. The guitarplay and the chords: Great, Great, GREAT!
Such a beauty!
Sorry for being late, but this song of yours is very beautiful! I do only wonder why you left this site after only two remixes. I would like to here more of your stuff!!
Those signs again.
Sorry, don't know where they come from.
You spoiled it, oh no, you spoiled it!!!
Just to talk about the sleep I get this nightâ?¦
I just canâ??t stop listening.
Max, your songs are so special, so perfect, so well produced, so nice and joyful to listen to, and most of them are 100% hit-potential. This one truly is! Please donâ??t stop to put your music up here.
In your notes you talk about the advice you got from the mixers up here. So now hear some from me (no need to take it, but listen and think it over):
â??Whatever you do to spend your day and to feed your family: Donâ??t go on with it! Burn a CD with your RWR-work and go to the best record-company in italy. Show them what you did. And then relax and enjoy your new lifeâ?¦â??
The day you found this place was a lucky day. A happy day for us.
Happy Maxday!
Andreas
100!! High time to have a short break from the break: This song is SO (!) beautiful! This guitar sounds as if it comes right from heaven. Nope, it doesn't. By chance I know you found it in your cellar. Lucky us! - Max, I just imagine what could have become out of you if you never ever put it down there.
The comparison with U2 was already made, I think their long-time-producer Daniel Lanois fits even better stylewise. But this one is not a cheap copy, it's a Maxwell-song at its best! Max, if you take the chance to be a part of a whatever called connection and make music out of this place: please let me know!
All the best to you! Thank you for putting your music up here.
AndreasF
Sigh, these signs again.
Thank you for stopping by, thank you for listening, thank you for your comments and the stars you left. And a final 'Thank you' for giving me the feeling of being a part of this, what Iâ??m not. After uploading this one there was a slightly feeling of cheating in me, cause I do not play this lovely piano and that nice guitar on it, Iâ??m not even able to play any instrument at all. I did not succeed in creating sounds and melodies like that on the synthesizers in my little program by myself. I did only succeed in finding and choosing those little sounds from a soundpool someone else put in there and puzzled them together with some nice things from RWR. You mixers out there do something completely different. And you are so great on it! I feel that my 'Savara'-way is not the right way for this site here. And I realized that the right way is much too difficult to walk for me, cause there is too much to learn but not enough skill and time. For this reason this is my last mix up here unless Iâ??m able to do those things all by myself - which unfortunately will never happen.
I spent a lot of time on this site over the last 12 months, maybe much too much. I feel that this here has got more influence on me than I wanted it to have when I began listening to those wonderful tunes up here in August 2006. So itâ??s high time for me to leave. And I write it down here allthough it was me who said 'Leave without saying!' over in the forums. Just to explain: I do write it down here to remind myself, that in August 2007 I decided to retire for some good reason. High time to spend more time in the real-Real-World againâ?¦
I do not mention any special name here, because I fear to forget one of the people I adored for several reasons. Thank you all for the emotions, and folks: there have been some (not all of them due to music)! Feel free to contact me whenever you plan to visit good-new-Germany! If you want you will find me.
So: 'Fare you well!'
Andreas
PS: Musical4M3, the 'Savara' part I loved most was the piano-part at about 0:40 (the one with the incoming guitar). Hearing it first while making it my ears â??openedâ?? in a strange way (sorry, canâ??t describe better).
At first I have to apologize: On the 25th of June me and my family were on vacation, it was a two weeks break from RWR. For that reason I missed this song of yours until today. Thank you for commenting on mine (and for the way you did!), so I had the chance to hear your one.
Yours is 'pro', it's good on this and: it's beautiful! Hearing it this way shows the difference to me again. I really hope to hear much more from you. The "Monkey" is the limit.
Holy Pete, what a mix!!! I think many of us didn't want to hear this Joy-tune again. I think for this reason there is only little traffic on this one here. BUT: Awfull mistake!! This one is really great! Great story, cool FXes, monkeys all around, and more than 7(!) minutes of interesting music! Great, great, great!
By the way: Listened to this one with headphones really loud, and at 1:51 my heart nearly stopped beating.
We all should have known on this one allready:
There is a creative genius over there in france. And for sure he is one with an open mind. I voted for this one a long time ago, hope it got the stars it deserves.
I hope I find the time to make a youyou-at-RWR-session tonight, there is so much to discover.
'Merci beaucoup' for sharing your rides with us!!
Strange things going on here (again):
Couldn't find the writing:
"Don't comment on Dunkerque's mix!!"
anywhere her on this site. But everybody seems to follow this rule at all.
No timing-difficulties in this one. The distorted voice is hard to listen to, but all in all I like this one.
Keep them coming!!
Welcome back, Mr. Bombastic!!!
You spent a lot of time to make this one? Let me tell you one thing: I thank you for every hour you spent. Well used time, cause this one is amazing. And it's a high-level production as well.
Music like yours is only seldom heared on the radio. Perhaps you should try to change this.
The 9th of April in the year of 2007 was a bad day to upload songs to RWR. Only 1 comment and 5 votings on August 14. Shame on all of us!!
Fielding, I thought I knew all your work here, but I obviously missed this one 'til tonight. The piano is so great (again). The mood is too. If you ever publish some of your music out of this place: Please let me know!! Needless to say that this one takes 5 and goes straight to my favs.
Greetings
Andreas
Your first one, and a good one. This one is about 6 minutes long and not one second of those is boaring. Yes, there is some trouble with the timing sometimes (I do only mention this because you know mentioned it yourself, not for knowing it better), but believe me: there are people out here able to see (and hear) the idea and the creative power behind the thing and don't look on each and every bar.
Glad you found this place, glad you picked the monkey first, glad you loaded it up. Which song is the next?
Fresh, new, great. And: Great (Oh, I allready mentioned this
)
Great!
Great!!!
Great!!!
Take 5!!!!
By the way: I did not comment on this one for the music yet (but you got my stars allready for sure.
)
I love the melody you put on it. And the arrangement as well. Keep on going, RizkeyG!!
It's not that easy to have a 'conversation in private' without having the chance to reach the ears of your partner. Nevermind.
Funny how we two seem to think in the same way. Funny because I just realized you seem to have voted on more songs on RWR as I did.
Hope I can keep my "headphone-soldier" medal at all.
This one goes straight to the heart. There are some parts in it that seem to be out of key due to vocal-manipulation. For this reason this one is my personal favourite RWR song on August 2007.
Perfect, simply perfect. John, Paul, George and Peter!!! Ore does the name of No.5 begin with a "J"?
If there are any other hidden masterpieces on your harddisc and you don't know how to find them: there are people out here willing to help you!!
Very nice to hear some new stuff of yours up here. Thank you for this one.
I just thought I'd say that 'Loaf' is not the only one.
Second mix up RWR, second burner!! Great stuff!! Studioalpha, please try the "Monkey" next.
Holy Pete, what a mix!!! The 'Don't take drugs' organizations will get a hard time argumenting after this one.
Fantastic!
There are some magic moments in this one. A very nice tune. Well done!!
Uploaded in June 2006. - As time goes by.
Another hidden beauty on RWR. And another one with no comment on it. So let's go:
The sound is perfect, the bassline is catchy and the whole thing is pretty good. Could have a little bit more variation, but went straight into my favs as it is. Great work!!
I wanted to say that I like this one. Well placed voices, interesting arrangement. Good mood, great work
But suddenly this sign appeared on my monitor:
DON'T COMMENT ON THIS REMIX, WILL YA!!!!!!!
So I don't tell you and understand why nobody (!) commented on this one so far.
For sure 'If I had my way' is not my favourite song on RWR. For sure 'Hip-Hop' is not my favourite style. But:
Youyou, this one is so (so!) great, I luv it!! Many ideas, many very fresh sounds, cool groove and a positive mood all over the song. And the sound is great, too. A well deserved (but hopelessly underrated) hotpick.
Someone above said, the story of the original does not allow such a positive mood.? That does not matter to me. Your song is what it is: BIG!!
By the way:
I'm a bit ashamed cause a few minutes ago I realized that I did not comment on any of your songs yet.
You are a strong supporter of this site and the mixers on it, I realized that well (and already long time ago). I realized your enthusiasm on commenting other mixes as well and it's a high aim to reach by myself (and for all the others around).
Youyou, may the
be with you 'til RWR vanishes.
Greets
AndreasF
O, forgot to say: Take 5 and fav!
Underrated track (not the only one here I think.).
Perfect mood, perfect sounds!!
*****
Another Maxwell-mix, and another great one. Not my personal favourite of yours, but that is not your fault. Highest rating as usual!!
Yes, you kept it simple, but it's a wonderful version of this song.
Greetings, and: please keep them coming.
By the way: Guess who uploaded the remix with the highest ratings of all? Yes, that's right.
Just making my way through the 'Bliss"-Mixes. Sorry I'm late for the party.
This one of yours is a real beauty. Dreamy? Absolutely! Fav and five!
Great work!!
Wonderful tune!
It's a pity that the 'old' remixes get this less attention here. this one is so great! Take 5!
Boring, musically uninspired, humour- and senseless!
Just to mention a few things you won't ever find written beneath this marvelous version of this song.
Doghouse, every song of yours shows this special sense of humour (I know you don't understand what I'm talking about right now.
) and is more than just remixing. This one is so great again! Doghouse and Melodyne seem to fit like Laurel and Hardy. And so do Doghouse and RWR.
Please stay tuned, even if there is not so much traffic here today.
Greetings
Andreas
Back from holiday. Was cold and haily at the german north-sea.
Noticed your upload as I peeked in at RWR from an internet-cafe without any speakers and was kind of curious about this one until I returned. Oh god, it was worth waiting for!!!
This one is so great, I listened about 50 times now and can't get enough. Your typical multiman-sounds are so well chosen and fit perfect. The part when Eliza's voice comes in are brilliant. And the usage of material that sounds like Gabriel is no fault at all.
Is this one the winner? Of course not, because there is no competition (did you upload by mistake??
) But if there was one this would be the one to beat, and I say this after (!) I listened to Doghouses dangtastic new one.
David, thank you for this piece of music!!
My favourite so far!
And now I'm waiting patiently for a version with an instrument in it that you prefer kore. Must be a burner then if this one is the result of fooling around a bit with the piano.
Keep them coming!!
Well done, Dirk!!
Highest honour on your first remix on RWR: A comment of old Doghouse. Hundreds of us beg to get one but: nope!
Your music on this one is fantastic! Dirk, there are seven other mix-packs to work on, please take some time!
Go, Dirk, Go!

Hi Oxxo!
Now you are one of the elite yourself, even if there are only a few comments on your mix. I'm a little proud to be one of those commenters!
Congratulations, a well deserved place in Peters hitlist.
Andreas
Your Evolution-mix climbed higher than I thought it would. Great it did!
Next time you make it. Perhaps we use the last-page-Troubadix-method on Multiman during the next comp!
Greetings
Andreas
No. 1 again, chapeau!! And with all the superb hard- and software you win here there will be no chance to reach you in the next competition.
But don't feel safe: nevertheless we will try!!!
Congrats!
Andreas
Andreas
One of the chosen few!! Congrats!
I knew this would happen (see my note two slots above)!!
And well deserved!
On March 18 I did not know that there were three of them. Thank god there are!
Milann, I must confess that it was only a few minutes ago that I realized there is this fantastic triple-stuff of you on here. I dont understand why none of the three "Triptic"s was hotpicked, cause they are fantastic!
I totally agree with Maxwell above.
Andreas
As promised: Competition time is over, and this one of you still is my No.1 out of all. Maria, there is something special on this one I can't explain. Thank you for making it (again).
I read some comments of you on some songs I didn't listen to until tonight and had a strange feeling of you being my lost twin. Mama didn't tell me yet
Sometimes this RWR-thing is really amazing.
Maria, it was a real pleasure for me to realize that you noticed me from over there. I really hope from deep in my heart that I am not the only one who is blocked on your PM.
Greetings
Andreas
Uploaded on March 16. - 2007. OOPS. -
I first listened to this song on May, 16. - 2007. This one is so great, Great, GREAT!!!
Guitar does not remind me of Mike Oldfield, my first vision was the good old "Wish you were here"-thingi, and that is highest honour (imho).
A brand new song, very nice ideas and perfectly arranged. I give 5 of those sparkling thins up here, and you deserve each one of them!! Fav as well!!
Yes, I'm late, sorry for that. But this one is so great, I cannot vote without any comment. Perfect soundscape, crazy ideas and a rhythm that makes your toes tip. This one was able to change my Top5 (it didn't, but it was able. It didn't because I decided to give only one slot max for each mixer).
BS, I love it!! Perfect!!
Competiton comes to its end, the winners will be announced soon. For me your song is one of them!
Your "Evolution" is my personal No. 1, and believe me, I listened to all of them. For some special reasons I'm very sure that this one has no chance to win the competiton, but that does not matter to me. It is a great piece of music and a wonderful remix of Salala!
Loveshadow, I do remember well when I heard this one for the first time. Pure emotion, pure feeling. Listening to it while writing is wonderful again.
All of the songs you uploaded for the comptetiton are goodies. I apologize for not commenting on most of them, but the high quality and their high number made me run out of fitting words. All of your songs are great, many of them perfect, all of them highest-level produced. And not two of them sound the same way. And I'm not only talking about the ballads.
Told you about my dreams lately. In the forums there was a discussion about dreams and hopes as well. Letâ??s see how all this endsâ?¦
Good luck to you, and thank you again for sharing this ride and your music.
Greetings
Andreas
Competiton comes to its end, the winners will be announced soon. For me your song is one of them!
Your "Salala Unison Remix" is my personal No. 2 out of them all, and believe me, I listened to all of them. Only No. 2 you say? Yes there was one competitor even you could not beatâ?¦
Fielding, I think this song of yours was the one I listened to most often. I gave the link to many of my friends and my family, but the magic I feel did not appear to any of them. Not only for this reason I see this one as a very personal piece of music and Iâ??m really glad you made it (and I found it).
Needless to say that many of your songs are good enough for my Top 5, but I decided to give only one slot for each genius here.
Good luck and another "Thank you" for sharing your songs!
Andreas
Oh, these signs again.
Sigh
Competiton comes to its end, the winners will be announced soon. For me your song is one of them!
Your "Love Collection Remix" is my personal No. 3 out of all, and believe me, I listened to all of them.
Maxwell, your music makes me shiver every time I hear it. It began with your first â??monkeyâ? (Do you remember? I doâ?¦) and continues through all of your work. Please let me know if there is any music of you outside RWR.
Good luck and another "Thank you" for sharing your songs! Keep on running!!!
Andreas
Competiton comes to its end, the winners will be announced soon. For me your song is one of them!
"Ring of life" is my personal No. 4 out of all, and believe me, I listened to all of them. (By the way: I voted them all, don't punish me for that
) I'm sure one of your songs will get a mention of good old Pete.
Christof, you are a great musician and from your comments I feel that you made the ride at RWR with all of your heart. Thank your for taking part!
Good luck and another "Thank you" for sharing your songs!
Andreas
Competiton comes to it's end, the winner will be anounced soon. For me your song is one of them!
"The Monster" is my personal No. 5 of all, and believe me, I listened to all of them.
Good luck and another "Thank you" for sharing your song!
Andreas
17 ratings, 5 stars average (!) and only No.4 on this weeks Top-20? RWR, How does this work?
Perfect!!
Der Rhythmus ist genial! Der Song (also der in dieser Version
) auch!
Super!!!
Ooops, late for the party.
Dear Hernine,
met my school mates from 25 years ago last Saturday. My feeling reading your goodbye above makes me feel like I felt the very last day at school in 1982, knowing this great time comes to its end now. The good boys are leaving the stage. But: As I saw last saturday, there is allways a chance to meet again, and I'm looking forward to meet you and your wonderful music again on this site.
All the best to you and the ones you love.
Andreas
PS: Did I mention that this is a wonderful parting-gift you made? No? Hernine, it's wonderful!!!
Maxwell, you did it again.
No more words, just beautiful!!
Thank you!
Ohh, just found a slot in my Top5!!!
Beautiful!!!
Dark. Darkest dark! And a very "Signal to noise" feel in it.
Fielding, this is another BIGone of you! You are a master of transporting all kinds of feelings with your songs. Great!!
Allthough there is no place left in my personal Top5: I bet (!) this one will be among the chosen few Peter G will give a special mention.
Great!
This one is a killer from 2:33 on. Great!!
I love this guitar! It's rusty? Don't worry, it works well!!
FaF (Five and Fav)
Didn't hear this biggy up to now, and it goes straight in my Top-6-competition-charts.
Whatdyousay? There is only 5 places in it?
Holy shit.
Great work, Prof!!
Beautiful! Really beautiful!
A Fury
-Monkey-Mix! I love this one , too.
How could I miss it 'til today? I was sure I checked all your stuff. Might be I was a bit busy on the competition-thingi.
Maxwell, a little PM after starting your pro-career as a mixer would guarantee your german fanbase!!
Andreas
Irritating child's-voice. But it fits well in this song. Beautiful sounds in here. I like tis one for being very special. Great, thank you!!
What a fat sound!
Great!!!
I give you five but don't comment on it.
Ooops!
So beautiful!!
Another one of you that makes me dream.
So beautiful!!
Won't change my Top-5 again.
Title reminds me of a story I heard a while ago:
Two dormmates in college were in the same science class. The teacher had just reminded them about the midterm the next day when one dormmate â?? let's call her Juli â?? got asked to this big bash by the hottest guy in school. The other dormmate, Meg, had pretty much no interest in going and, being a diligent student, she took notes on what the midterm was about. After the entire period of flirting with her date, Juli was totally unprepared for her test, while Meg was completely prepared for a major study date with her books.
At the end of the day, Juli spent hours getting ready for the party while Meg started studying. Juli tried to get Meg to go, but she was insistent that she would study and pass the test. The girls were rather close and Juli didn't like leaving Meg alone to be bored while she was out having a blast. Juli finally gave up, using the excuse that she would cram in homeroom the next day.
Juli went to the party and had the time of her life with her date. She headed back to the dorm around 2 a.m. and decided not to wake Meg. She went to bed nervous about the midterm and decided she would wake up early to ask Meg for help.
She woke up and went to wake Meg. Meg was lying on her stomach, apparently sound asleep. Juli rolled Meg over to reveal Meg's terrified face. Juli, concerned, turned on the desk lamp. Meg's study stuff was still open and had blood all over it. Meg had been slaughtered. Juli, in horror, fell to the floor and looked up to see, written on the wall in Meg's blood: "Aren't you glad you didn't turn on the lights?"
Why the hell am I telling you this? Cause Iâ??m very happy that you turned the light on! Canâ??t get this one out of my head. Definitely need some Martinis to forget nowâ?¦
Tried to listen to the very end five times last weekend. Did not work, only came to up to 2:10 every time(you know what I mean?)
Today I succeeded, my wife got a headache.
I like this one very much. It has his own style and great ideas in it.
Fav! And Five!
This is a nice one!
Sometimes I don't understand, why an outstanding and interesting remix like yours has only got six comments on it after ten days of being. This one definitely deserves more than this.
Well done, thank you for 6:56(!) of wonderful music!
Chapeau, Maestro!
By the way: Who plays the orchestra?
Competition seems to be prolonged, but I listend to my TOP 5 this night to see whether it's all right.
Christof, this is a great one. I think I gave you 5 for this (allthough I know that this does not matter to you from the forums.
)
Posted a very positive comment on this about an hour ago. Obviously it vanished, and that is shit.
Don't know what I felt an hour ago (Gin?). Trying to tell you what I feel now:
This is very great music, I do really like it for it's positive mood and the ideas in it. For me it does not matter that the sound is not at 100%. I know the feeling after pushing the send button, it's kind of a release doing this.
Is it too sad? I don't think so. I listened five times and am still smiling and feeling good. You created a really great song! Thank you!
From time to time I send the "Best of RWR" to my friends who are not involved here. I only pick up the great ones (for me), but sometimes I don't get any (can you imagine: not any!) response from them. I sent them links to georgeous songs, but nothing. And meanwhile I know, why this shit happens:
Listening to so much stuff here clears the ears. If you don't listen to the crap, you don't see the big ones.
This song of yours is one I don't send to my friends, allthough I would like to. They would not understand why I sent it. But: I feel like an insider here (allthough I don't know Steve Reich), and your mix is outstanding! Thank you for making and sharing it.
Perfect as usual! Sigh!
Beat is quite unuasual. But great!
Chelsea Flower Show? Somewhere else you quote:
"I will be appearing at the Chelsea Flower show on 2007.05.22 this year. I will be popping out occasionally from behind the Delpiniums and later dressed as a snowman in the Alpine garden."
Seems to be the only chance to meet one of the bigones here.
Suggest we all wear green LS-T-Shirts there.
Was a strange day over here (and not one of the good strange days.) Frustration? Yes, there is some.
Your song makes it possible to feel nice again (ok, today I needed it four times befoe it worked.)
Only one more, and I go to sleep.
Talking about italien guys: Just realize, that you are one as well. Hope it's not necessary to tell that you were not the one (and only one) I had in mind.
Thukol, I'm quite shure that I voted twice for your song (and I'm not an italien guy.
). Don't know why RWR didn't put my voting and my comment on hard disk, but - who cares, 5 stars are 5 stars.
Your song is the "What you are"-remix I identify (and remember) first on hearing it, it is so special and great on this. And I like it every time I hear it (no secret that I don't like the original). For that reason I put your song on No. 1 in my charts and keep it there until the end.
Greetings!
To tell a story is one thing, to make music another. To connect these two is a third thing. You succeeded well, and I admire you for this.
I feel a little bit of too much sadness in the song. Hope everything is ok over there. Being parents is a hard job, even if everything is ok. Good luck to you (trying to be a good dad since 10 years now and failing nearly every day).
11 people listened, one had the courage to rate.
Is it real? Or is he just kidding?
Commenting on this one is like to say you like a modern painting - that monkeys created (what you realized afterwards)
Take my rating and make a longer one, even if it is not so personal.
For some special reason I know that this is not your first remix for this site(A monkey hurrying by told me)
For me this is a spectacular mix as well. It's not perfect (you know that), but it shows your great ideas, and it shows, that you are able to make your ideas real.
Keep on going!!
You got a cocked left ear for this?
Nothing more to say, highest honour given!!

(Voting in silence)
A LS Hotpick? What's going on here???
Crazy idea, but perfect! I smell the smoke of the cigarettes over here.
Welcome back, Frakir!
Thought I had my Top5 complete. Must think it over again.
Fantastic stuff, this!! Giant sound. Great music as well.
Wanted to give you one star extra for the longest-fade-out-in-competition, but unfortunately that was not possible.
Perfect!
Glad I didn't miss it. Beautiful piano.
Perfect (oh, I said already
)
I just caught this one on RadioRemixed. Glad I did. Wonderful tune! The intro (and not only that) is georgeous!!
Another great one of you. The sounds, the groove and the mood you created are purely wonderful. Listened three times up to now and there is only one little thing I can't get out of my head: The parts you added might fit even better on another vocal-track than this, and I don't (don't) mean it negative. They are perfect for themselves.
Take 5 from me!
Oh, that's kind of easy for Realworld: Pick this one the winner, do nothing with the track and put it on cd as it is. Surely will work!!
Perfect. Is there a chance to get a second one?
By the way:
Two positive comments, three ratings and 1.67?? Something wrong with the stars in April?
Boooah, some fat sounds in here! You had fun doing this? We can hear itâ?¦
The choir at 1:25 is great, the groove too. Many ideas in. Folks, listen to this with your headphone, itâ??s worth it!
Impressing!
Great strings, great soundscape! Different from many others, and good on this!
Well done!!
Back again and again. Seems to be the same virus I had last year on the monkey-thingy.
There is another thing I want to criticise:
Third: Five stars are not enough for this tune.
Forgot to say Thank you for sharing this this afternoon.
Thank you for sharing this. I love it!!!
There are two things I have to criticise hearing this song:
First: It's much too short!!
Second: There are only five places in the competition charts.
Fielding, I fear with this one you kicked one of your other tunes out of my Top5. But I'm very sure that this one will stay in there to the very end!
This is so (SO!) beautiful!! And for me it's just perfect. No more time to speak, must vote now and listen again.
Welcome back Mr. Banks, err Macromarco!
Very impressive. Glad you live your dream and share it with us. I think it's more than a remix, and it's very good on this.
Thank you!
Read someone called you an amateur recently (Oh, just realized that was you yourself? Though shall not lie.)
HaveMercy, this is pro-stuff! Full of ideas, full of colours and perfectly arranged.
Great!
(I nearly missed it, thanks for your comment so I didn't)
No. 1 on April 1.
Congratulations!
Hope Peter G. has got your phone number already
Thought it over again.
There was a zero-rating, no matter why and no matter where it came from. I confess that I'm disappointed, because this spoiled my chance of being Top20 this week. I know that this was nearly my only chance to reach this list of the great-ones, and yes: It would have made me proud as hell.
Someone I like very much said recently: This is a dangerous place. She is bloody right. Someone else I like very much said recently: You (=me) would not make for a musician as you get criticised a lot. He is bloody well right, too, and now I can imagine how he felt several times in the past when the worms were on.
I think I leave for a while. This IS a dangerous placeâ?¦
It's not easy to have a dialogue when I'm blocked in your PM, so I write it down here:
Rating was 4.45 before your comment (11 voters), rating was 4.00 afterwards (12 voters). There was a zero-voting in between. What else should I think? For that reason I sent you the PM and told you, that I can't understand this, because you described another personal use of voting and commenting in the forum. But: Lesson is over, don't talk no more.
Yes, I'm an amateur, and I'm trying to take these things not so serious. Sometimes I don't succeed, because my heart is in here.
Thanks for all your nice comments and the stars you left.
Thank you as well, Mr. "I vote it down!" You helped me learning my lesson.
Promised is promised.
Thank you!
Welcome!
Sometimes I don't understand the RWR-sheep. This goody is up since 2 days and has got only one comment and three votings on it? It definitely deserves more than this!
There might be no sensation in your version, but that's no fault. It's well done, well balanced, has good ideas and a good sound. It makes curious for your next one! Perhaps you take a little more risk then.
Interesting approach -beep- I like the soundscape -beep- Sound is excellent -beep- underrated track -beep- the part beginning at 2:00 is very nice -beep-
I -beep- like this one -beep- very much -beep-
I spent the last hour to find suitable words to express my feelings while listening to this miracle. Did not succeed yet, but promise to go on trying. I am deeply impressed and not ashamed of the tears I shed hearing this song for the first time while reading your remixers notes.
Loveshadow, you are a magician!
Folks, you are SO kind!! Thanks a lot. Must leave now and tell the kids.
If there were any doubts:
You are one of the creative big-ones here! So many ideas, so many different colours of music. Thank you for sharing this!
Wow, Top-5 on March 25!!
Congrats, musically well deserved. And not only musically.
I beg you: Finish this quicky quickly!! But take enough time, deadline is in April!! There is such a beautiful melody in the background, but you have to fit in the original parts a bit more careful.
I like this very much and am waiting for the ready one. For this reason I kept one of the 5 stars over here. I promise to give it to you on the next one!
Me dancing? I'm sure (!) you don't want to see this, believe me.
I'm really glad (and a little proud) you liked it.
Thank you!
(Me being speechless)
Fantastic!
So many sounds, so many ideas! Maybe a little too much for only one remix. Make three or four tracks out of this and I will give you 5 stars for every single one. Great work!
I missed this one 'til tonight. What a pitty!! I love how you arranged the two songs. And I love the "new" voice of Peter. Very interesting and very fabulous version. Went straight into my favs.
Great!!
Just found this monkey after being tired of to much JOI. Yes, this one is minimalistic. But I like it very much. Perhaps because my approach was similar.
I'm sure the winner is online now!
Great! Thank you for sharing it with us.
This is a biggie!! I love every minute of it.
"Ganz grosses Kino!"
Und: Danke auch dafuer!
Vanishing letters again. Sigh.
There are some genius here. You are definitely one of them! Play on, Christof!
PS:
Today I listened to your "Fields of gold" at "My space". Ganz groes Kino! Danke auch dafür!
Thanks for all your lovely comments (and for the stars you left). You are giving me a great time.
Allthough there are plenty of nice and some very nice Joi-remixes online this is my daily after-Joi-oasis. Someone above said "bravo". I repeat it:
BRAVO!
Deep sigh.
Vanishing letters again.
Should have been Peter Gs (with an apostrophe). That equals 2 blind herings.
#%§")&§$"!
I rate it four Loveshadows and give you three Peter Gâ??s extra!
Well done. So beautiful. I love it!
Hope you're feeling better again.
I listened twice from the beginning to the very end. Hard stuff, this. How did you manage to listen to it time after time while mixing it?
Mission completed. It's really ugly. Stars for this.
Wow! Wow! Wow!
This is a goody!
Thukol, Maxwell:
Thanks a lot!!! I hoped someone would like this one, cause I really do. ![:-]](smilies/embarrased.gif)
And thank you for leaving so many stars. I'm not really used to it.
Great. Really great!
Sample pack No. 6 is online. Go, Hernine, go!!!
Commenting on your songs is getting dangerous for me, because I fear to be arrested for stalking.
Loveshadow, another masterpiece of you. On what record will it be on? I love this guitar!
Sorry, wrong smilie: sigh
You love the ending? Let me try to translate: "Good that it's over??"
sigh
Really nice to meet my old hairy compagnon again. And how well he developed!! About 6 months late, might have been a winner. Great, GREAT stuff!!
Very original, the best one for me so far. The storyboard reminds me of the 12'' single of "Rage Hard" by Frankie goes to Hollywood.
Super!!
Enjoy? I love it!! This song is fresh, optimistic and surely will find it's way straight into the next Top-20!
Thank you for making it!!
I still love this song!!
This is your first mix ever? I would like to have a look at your oldest daughter. She must be a real beauty.
Go on making music, the charts will be yours soon. This is such a GREAT song, congratulation!!! A very nice melody, very nice mood. Note: This is the first after-competition-monkey I listened to more than once. And more than two times. And I will listen again!
Competition is over.
Sigh
Did the Duende arrive already? Together with a letter of Peter perhaps? King Multiman, Your people wants to know the whole story.
Good choice of RW. Congratulations!
??
7 x 5 = 35
6.535 x 5.879 = 38.419.265
12 x 1 = 12 (12!)
Yes?
The show is over now, and I wanted to put this one in my competition Top-10. It didn't work, no monkeys in here <sigh>. OK, instead I put it in my brain. I think it's a much better place for this song to be. And it will stay in there even if realworld shuts off this site. Good to know!!
Some words to your remixers notes on this song: "Notes 2" caused some trouble here. Don't know why, they fit like "Faust aufs Auge" and perfectly suit this song. Nevertheless you did allready catch me with your "Notes 1". In my imagination I have seen parts of the real Loveshadow in this. - Oh, you copied it from someone else? Never tell me.
Bye from here!
Andreas
Just trying to bring this monkey-thing to an end. All songs listened to, all songs rated, Top-10 finished. Sorry that you're not in it, but 10 cages are not so much place for more than 700 monkeys to live in. - This is the music-piece of the cake.
The other side is chocolate!
I admire your intelligent way to comment and explain, I'm still fascinated of your deep passion for Mr. G., and finally: I really enjoyed chatting to you. It was sort of "real" in an obviously surreal world only called the "realworld".
Claudia (I think this is your name?), if I should ever stumble over the feet of old Loveshadow in a mall somewhere, it would be a pleasure if you were at his side by chance, talking about music, PG and the rest of the world.
Bye from here, greetings to your family!
Andreas
Just trying to bring this monkey-thing to an end. All songs listened to, all songs rated, Top-10 finished. But I promised to come back to explain something.
Yes it's the space in your song. And yes, I like the acoustic guitar. And I like the way you put it together. It fits perfect. Thanks for making it!
I don't know where you come from, but you might possibly like a german band called "Fury in the Slaughterhouse". If you try to find them, don't look at their new records. Search for songs like "Time to wonder" or "Won't forget these days". Perhaps you like it!! I think it's possible that you will.
Bye from here.
A.
Mission fulfilled:
I have rated every competition-monkey on this site and commented on many of them. And I finished my Top-10.
Your mix is my personal No. 1. Peter will listen to it soon, and I hope the rest of the world will soon do so, too. This song boosted me away from the very first moment ("ground beneath me shake"). The person behind this song did as well. As I said before: you are a part of the spirit of this site, your music and your comments let it glitter!
I hope Peter takes some pictures while he gives the Duende to you.
This would help running over you in a mall wherever in the world.
Mission fulfilled:

LS, you know how to make an old guy happy. Just made a screenshot of your favs. Must leave now to tell my kids.
Me again. Rating system is in total disorder. Today (02.10.06) my "mix" has got exactly the same 2.31 than this one. I'm sorry I can't fix this, because I voted for your song already.
Time to say thank you.
Thank you for taking the time to listen to my track, thank you for your comments and for the stars you left. The competition does not matter to me, but it is a strong, satisfying feeling to see, that there are people outside that like this little "thingi" of mine and do not fear to say so!
Thank you, folks! You're giving me a great time!
The other side of the monkey. Loud, strong, fast: and absolutely great!! Who the f**K plays these guitars?? They are from HELL!!
I listened to this on the competitions-end-nightshift (wife and kids were sleeping) and couldn't listen loud. I didn't like it so much first.
But: Wife and kids are out now, and now I play it REALLY LOUD and it is great!! GREAT!!!
And it's steamy all the way. Sure I would have noticed without a hint.
I like the strings you used. Perhaps you find out, why.
The rest is nice too.
What shall we do with a drunken monkey,
What shall we do with a drunken monkey,
What shall we do with a drunken monkey
Early in the evening.?
Listen to him at real-world-remixed,
Listen to him at real-world-remixed,
Listen to him at real-world-remixed,
Voting him 5 stars now!!!
Great stuff!
Unbelievable!! Great work!!
Very, very nice! Makes me smile at the end of a day not worth smiling. Thank you!
"Killer-remix" fits perfect on this extra-ordinary piece of music!
One of the big-bangs in here!! Great stuff! Great guitar. Is it Carlos S. himself doing this job?
Still 130 monkeys to vote for I took the time to listen to yours from the beginning to the very end. It was really worth it! Well done, spum3!
I'm just working (hard working!) on voting for the last 150 monkeys I didn't hear yet. There is some hard stuff in there. Coming back to your song again and again in between. Great, great, GREAT!!
Hope you make the Top-12.
"Hi there", subsounds!
Thanks for your comment on my mix, thanks for the bunch of stars. I'm just listening to your song again. I did already vote for. Great work, man!! And as you can see: the audience thinks so, too! The few "soldiers of destruction" can't blow away the spirit of this site. There are too much true and honest thinking voters around here.
399 listeners, only 1 comment? This nice track was hidden somewhere in the pile of monkeys. I like it.
My dancefloor-favourite. Good work!!
Beautiful!! I love it!!
Underrated track, very nice to listen to. Well done!
Wow!! Not finding the right words to describe my feeling listening to this i keep quiet.
Marvelous!!!!
Nice speedy version. Very good stuff!
I wanted to give up to listen to all new monkeys around. Glad I didn't. Your song is another pearl in this competition!! Great!
In the end a track that polarizes people: 0,5,3,1,0.
Technically high standard, but the music.
RWRM, please don't let this be the last one in competition.
Cool guitar sound. Great!! Monkey sounds fresh to me!
Three in one, and it works! Great mood, great stuff!
Another slow one. And it's a really beautiful one! Thanks for this piece of music. I love it!
There it is: The last-minute Loveshadow. I knew it would happen, and it did.
Thanks for all of your great songs!
Another big one hiding in the list of monkeys. I nearly missed it, and I'm glad I didn't! Great idea, great song, great work!
Lots of stars from over here!
Back again. Can't describe, what makes this song so special for me. I like it, and I promise to try to work out, why!
Great!! Really great! And not gay at all, I think.
Accidently coming up to your song for the second time in half an hour I confess: I really like it! Great stuff, great arrangement, great mood. Chapeau!! And fav!!
Crazy signs at the end of my posting. Never seen them before. Server-problems due to heavy traffic at competition-deadline??
Nice idea to put the word "darwin" into the title of your mix. Might work on the search engine.
Your track really does not need this kind of help!
Here a suggestion for your next track-title:
"Final lament of NEMESIS-monkey in the middle of Jaliya vs. Enos Ballad of Loveshadowâ?
Hi, it's me again. I come back to your mix nearly every day. It's darkest dark (blackest black?) but it's really GREAT! You wanted to transport a feeling? You succeeded, and you are one of only a few in the whole bunch of mixers. Fantastic!
Voting fixed.
Great song!!!
"Don't try to understand the animal called "voting-behaviour" here. It was born in the darkest darkness of mixers souls, wears a spiked collar and is fed with cynical posts and comments!"
I posted this about one week ago. But what is going on here during the last few days?? Two votings for your mix, null stars??!! What the hell is this???
Finally: You created a really nice track. I like it. And I voted for it.
Great stuff. Very moody. Fav!
And up to 2.5 in only one second.
I think, your mix-file was damaged while you uploaded it. -
Pardon? It wasn't? This really(!) is the original file???
Oh, Oh.
My mother used to say: "Don't do that again!"
"Beer for the pianoman!! And give him a big one."
Many very, very critical (too critical?) listeners here today.
Perhaps all a little monkey-fevered. I like your mix. But please put away your electric lawnmower. Someone could stumble and fall.
quote: "Thanks for listening!"
It was a pleasure!! Great work!
Thanks for making it!!!
I really like the mood you created. Nice work! The part beginning at 2:40 is great!
Three people rated your mix, 0 stars each (!). Do you have any enemies here??
I like your version and really enjoyed listening.
You tried to create a different atmosphere? Mission fulfilled!!
It's not my favourite style of music, but great work!!
Three months of working on the track, and then two people rate it and give it 1.5. That's not fair, the mix is definitely much better than this. (I tried to correct it) I like sounds you used (not every sound, but a lot of them.). Well done, it was worth the while!!
Thanks for your three (!) kind comments on my mix. Also thanks for three (!!) stars! Nobody else gave me this lot. I must commit that I can't remember how much stars I gave to yours.
I hope you don't mind that my mix has now got more points than yours after your voting.
Greetings
Andreas
Peter G. goes Talk Talk.
Great mix!
This is one of the monkeys with it's own face! Great mood, great melody, great instruments = great song! Thanks for making it! Top-12 for me!!!
This mix is one of the pearls thrown before us competition-swines. Great work!!I hope it will make the Top-12. Good luck!!
Nice to hear the wavestrings in someones elses mix. I really like it! First attempt?? Joking, are you?
Ooops, what's this? Listen to "Alternate monkey" by "Deaconesque" after listening to this.
"Variations on the monkey" by Loveshadow.
Great title for an album, isn't it?
This remix is definitely better than only 1.37. I tried to fix it, allthough not every part of your song pleased me.
Strange, but very interesting. Don't know how you managed to put the clothespin upon Peters nose.

I'm just "working" on some elder competiton-tracks. It was a brilliant idea to do so, because this one is absolutely GREAT!!
Hi Zaphod! (Insiderjoke-be)
First time mixer??? You should not lie!
Great sound, some nice ideas. Carry on mixing!
By the way: Read the news on the realworld-homepage today? Obviously there was a guy staring at their pictures for half an hour today!! Weird!
Life is a great adventure. So is this song! Hard stuff. I think i have to listen to one of my favourites after this.
I left some stars for the "art-of-noise". Where do I get my medal "He listend from the beginning to the very end"?
Crazy monkeys! I'm sure I know some of them (you can find their names in the "Forum" of this site.
I can't imagine what song you might have created with a little time as your friend. Some nice ideas, and the sound is absolutely fat.
By the way: We're not tired of hearing the stuff here! Perhaps a little hung-over, but not tired!!
Even Rome wasn't built in a day. A second day might have suited good, there are some parts that seem to miss-fit a little bit. Nevertheless i like it a lot.
"Monkey-Act" Part 1. Is this Whoopie Goldberg singing in the background choir? I laughed out loud when I heared it for the first time. I really enjoyed it! Great idea!!
You guys must have a lot of fun I suppose. Party on!
Johnny hates Jazz. Me too.
That shall not be your problem. But how to vote a track you really don't like for his style?
Continue listening, thinking it over.
Oh thanks, the end of your track helped me to decide.
The track deserves a better vote than 1.4. Vote. Oh, look: it has got a better vote.
Sounds strange and interesting. I like it!
I'm very sure there are many better backing tracks as the one you have chosen. Is it some kind of "chicken-dance"? Beware of Peter if he should ever hear this.
Not really my style, but: Well done "in technique". Try some more!
Don't try to understand the animal called "voting-behaviour" here. It was born in the darkest darkness of mixers souls, wears a spiked collar and is fed with cynical posts and comments!
I really enjoyed to listen to your song! So I can state you reached your aim. And: I did not (not!) only enjoy listening up to 3:00.
"Underrated track"
Sigh, wish this would be written beneath mine.
Meanwhile the votes are where they should be. It was a pleasure to vote!
6/4? Weird!!
Really not easy to listen to through to the end, but worth the while. I like it!
Changing my personal Top-10 every day this is my No.1 of the moment (120906). Great stuff!! The part at 2:48 is marvelous and probably the most "Gabrielesque" part of all songs here (and I listened to most of them
) I'm sure Peter likes it!
One of my favs so far. Hope you make it to the Top-12!!
Double the Peter, what a great idea! It works and I love it! Thanks for this piece of music.
Dear Mr. Gabriel!
Loveshadow has finished his work on your "Monkey". He did very well (again!) and is ready to receive new material. I would like to listen to "Mercy Street" after LS has driven through it.
LS: 5 stars!!
Wish I could vote for this song more than once. And 5 stars extra for your remixers notes.
Great, really great!! Hope that Peter picks up a few remixes for a special "Best-of-shock-the-monkey-remix-competition"-Album. This one will be one of the songs on it!!
@gunthergunther:
Don't worry: You are right! But: So am I. I know this song since it came out, and it's still great, even nowadays. But this remix has that "something" you (I) can't describe. I enjoy every time I lesson to it, and - Peter, please forgive me! - in the summer of 2006 I really enjoy it a bit more than the ape of the 80s.
Great!!! Even better than the real thing.

Surprise, surprise, here it is online. Did not last as long expected.
Impressive version, even more impressive in combination with your video.
Well done, and:
Farewell! We'll stay here until you return
