Remixer Notes

Hi all music lovers!

This is my very first official remix/cover of a pg song.

I opted for using only vocal lines, changing the song's structure "just a little bit" and using an unusual useful string quintett (2 Vlns, 1 Vla, 1 Vcl, 1 Db). Let say, a (un)classical way.

One thing came at first in my mind: "A foreign body and a foreign mind". From here to some strange and foreign notes/sounds/harmonies, the way is there.

So, this is the final line-up involved into this curious project:

peter gabriel » voices (of course.)

members of the Vara?din "Virtual" Quintett » string quintett

Not the fist string based remix, McCello's Salala being a good example.

Wow. You truly deserve everyone of them stars given to you. In terms of artistic vision and realization this piece is really outstanding. What about the Varazdin-Quintet? Any relations to Croatia ? And is the tiny piece of laughter at the beginning and the end really taken from Jethro Tull`s "Up to me"? A friend of mine made a bet for a bottle of red wine that this is the fact.
