Remixer Notes

I wanted to try and flow with the beautiful sentiment of the original song and use some of the hidden hooks. I also added a few backing vox myself (just so that I could sing alongside PG for once in my life!). I changed the chords slightly to add a different vibe to the song as well and I think it's become more of a PG song now overall :-)

I just love Angelique's vocal texture mixed with PG's voice - they just seem to melt together.

Technical Information

Cubase 4, Hypersonic (including the Hammond B5 which adds that crunchy organ sound), Groove Agent. I use a Mackie Onyx 400F as my audio interface. Wavelab to master.

Comments

Henta, your remix is very sensual and has a great progressing, swinging feeling world-trip-hop-esque.

Love what you did with layering of vox and the bell sounds work really well to take it to a fantasy realm-sounds totally different from the original.

Good Job.
