Remixer Notes
For my last installment in the Stretched Trilogy I imagine ENOS the monkey once more. ENOS has drifted beyond Earth's reach and his spacecraft is leaking gasses and losing oxygen. As his ship drifts further into the ether he enters a new realm of existence beyond life as we know it. For the last stretched remix I added a stretched Boy's choir. I recorded a church boy's choir a few years ago and was given permission to use my recordings of them warming up (singing scales). Also I decided to add a drum beat and Tony Levin bass line for the 2nd half of the song. Not to give the song a dance feel, but more of a jubilant and climactic feel. Pitch has been raised to D# for a slightly more ethereal feeling.

5/5 from me
Nice.very nice
that is unique and beautiful.
It sounds very nice !!! But where is the the Monkey ?
Very nice Synthetic. I am glad you decided to do one mix with a little bit of unstretched sound in it just for variation. I agree that it adds an additionally hopeful touch and also gives it the sense of movement or trajectory as the story implies. Thank you again for all of your work on your stretched monkey project.
Thanks so much for the nice comments, it really encourages me. I should explain this piece is at least 85% Shock The Monkey. It has been stretched 13 times it's original length, so it sounds quite different. If it is played in fast motion, it is one of the more faithful remixes here at RealWorld. I do realize that stretching this song gives it a very different feel. I did want folks to know it's mostly Shock The Monkey, eeven if it doesn't sound like it.
It's always a cosmic trip listening to a piece of this stretched version of STM.
I'm going to download the full version for my meditation times.
Thanks again!
You know already how i like this _______ except for the bass and drums i'm afraid. For me they don't combine well with the stretched carpet, it's probably because of the sounds, cause i could imagine how it could work with f.i. freestyle jazz drumming. Actually, i think that would be great!
I like to see how you really moved on with the initial stretching idea. The choir works heavenly
LOVE this! beautifully done, spaceman. thanks for your comment on my remix as well.
