I've uploaded my remix and it's not on the site. Why?
We listen to every remix before we approve it for the site to check for obvious copyright infringement, technical issues and offensive content. This can take a few days if the site is very busy
Please be patient and wait the email we send to confirm the status of the mix. If it has taken more than a few working days (we need weekends off too!) please email us using the bug report form with the name of the remix and your registered email address.. This can help us track down the problem.
I've registered but not had any confirmation email?
It's almost certain that you have registered using a hotmail account. Hotmail have decided that our confirmation emails are spam and file it away in your junk folder, or simply don't deliver it at all.
There is nothing we can do to help unfortunately as it's down to Hotmail. We suggest that you check your junk mail folder or change your email provider :-)
Why Can't I Upload A Remix
We have had a few reports of failed uploads and in pretty much every case it's been the MIME Type at fault.
The default setting for MP3 files is audio/mpeg but we have noticed some users have MP3's set to be an application/octetstream which means we cannot accept the MP3.
You must edit your MIME types to the correct setting for the upload to complete.
Which Software Can I Use To Remix?
If you do not own any music software there are demos available for many packages across the Mac and PC platforms and many soundcards come with trial or "LE" type versions which will allow you to explore both the software and these sample packs for a limited time, or with limited features.

We cannot provide any support for the sample pack downloads or any of these applications, but hopefully when the forums are up you should be able to find some help there or in any of the popular forums at the software's own websites

How Can I Send My Friend A List Of My Remixes?
In most places if you click on a remixer name you will be taken to a list of all that remixer's remixes along with the Biog (if they have added one).
The URL of this page can be emailed to your mates, your mum, whoever.. Also, each individual remix has a URL so you can email the remix page to try and get your votes up!
